Internal paint flakes off
I had this in my tank for 2 months. I took it out and was cleaning it. TONS of black gunk I thought was mold. I spent so much time and energy trying to balance the Ph levels in my tank. Found out, the black gunk was paint that chipped off. My betta died after only having him for two months. I believe THIS was the culprit!!

Peeling paint and not plastic
This is advertised as a plastic product but it isn’t. After about a month of use the paint came right off when I picked it up. I rinsed it in a bucket and more paint came off. Even if the paint is fish safe, fish cannot eat paint making this dangerous for any tank. I have other imagitarium decor and no issues, just this one.

Not plastic, causes PH issues don't buy!!
Bought in March, noticed it was poorly painted and had brush bristles stuck in the paint after installing it. Fought mysteriously high pH for all of Mar and Apr, noticed in late Apr that the paint was beginning to bubble up. Removed the pot and the PH returned to normal. Broke the pot open out of curiosity, it was made of a ceramic material and was completely waterlogged. The item description suggests that the item is made of plastic/resin. It is not, and I wouldn't buy any of these cheaply made decor items again. I spent 3x what this cost on solutions for my PH problems, never suspecting the pot was the culprit. We are lucky it didn't kill our fish.

Paint Chipped
I never leave reviews, but I don't want this to happen to others. The first day I put the decoration in my betta's tank after cleaning, he loved it! He was so excited to have something to swim through. Then, ONLY four days later, I noticed the water was incredibly cloudy. I went to clean it again, thinking it was odd, and all the paint was chipping off the inside of the decoration. Definitely not safe for fish! Look for another decoration--regardless of how aesthetically pleasing it is.

Low Quality
While it does look nice while in the aquarium, the first time I took it out to clean the tank, the paint was washing down the drain without any scrubbing.
