Peeling paint and not plastic

This is advertised as a plastic product but it isn’t. After about a month of use the paint came right off when I picked it up. I rinsed it in a bucket and more paint came off. Even if the paint is fish safe, fish cannot eat paint making this dangerous for any tank. I have other imagitarium decor and no issues, just this one.

Not plastic, causes PH issues don't buy!!

Bought in March, noticed it was poorly painted and had brush bristles stuck in the paint after installing it. Fought mysteriously high pH for all of Mar and Apr, noticed in late Apr that the paint was beginning to bubble up. Removed the pot and the PH returned to normal. Broke the pot open out of curiosity, it was made of a ceramic material and was completely waterlogged. The item description suggests that the item is made of plastic/resin. It is not, and I wouldn't buy any of these cheaply made decor items again. I spent 3x what this cost on solutions for my PH problems, never suspecting the pot was the culprit. We are lucky it didn't kill our fish.
