I purchased this product at one of our local PetCo stores & worked great when rebuilding our 75 freshwater. Can this be used now that plants are in the tank to kill green slime algae w/o harming the freshwater plants?

How about it seems like there’s maybe bacteria being broken up and there’s like just waste that’s floating around the tank it’s not ick but I can’t seem to get it to go into the filter and stay in the filter I justed cleaned thefilter but it still is the?

I have a 13.5 Fluval salt water tank, how much do I add? How long should I wait to do a water change? And does it affect clownfish, royal gramy, shrimp, hermitcrabs and emerald, and coral?
- Hi cordero, The algaecide is safe for marine aquariums when used as directed. Dosage is 6 drops per 10 gallons, so for their system (guessing displacement or rocks and sand) we would recommend 7 drops. We would also recommend you find what is causing the algae issues as algaecide will take care of existing algae but will not cause new algae from returning and is not a long term or best solution for a reef tank. * Get water tested to ensure nitrates and/or phosphates are not elevated * Do regular water changes. * Ensure they are not overfeeding. The instructions say this product is not safe for use with shrimp. How long should I wait before adding shrimp to a tank that has been treated with this product?

I have a 20 gallon tank with a tetra fish and a blue crayfish. Is it safe to use this product? We followed the petco specialist’s directions of water conditioner, quick start and aquarium salt in a fresh tank of water & it’s cloudy/green after 4 days.

Is this product safe for fresh or brackish water, aquatic turtles (Diamondback Terrapins) & semi-aquatic turtles, (red eared sliders)?
- When used/dosed as directed it will be safe. But, as a sidenote we would recommend you tje Imagitarium Biological Booster to help naturally help remove what is causing the algae and help water quality. Thanks,

Rust colored algae in both of my 10 gallon tanks after switching from gravel to sand substrate. What can I do?

My fish tank got infested with pink algae and green algae and the fish are acting lethargic and dying.
I have a decoration in my tank with my goldfish I am starting to get worried about the fishes health since I started to notice a brown substance taking over the leaves of the fake tree decoration. Fish has white fluffy stuff on gills and eyes as well as what looks like fin rot. We’ve lost almost all the fish in our aquarium… we thought ick initially and have dosed Melafix but it doesn’t seem to be working. They won’t eat, they’re either laying on the ground or floating at the top of the tank gasping ): we have a large tank with several peaceful species and now we’re down to just a handful of fish left. We are devastated.
I just purchased Imagitarium Ammonia-Reducing filter media cubes from Petco and there are no instructions for how to use. I had put an aquatic plant in my fish tank because I was told he would like it and eat it, but now he has black marks all over his body. I searched and found that it is chemical burns from ammonia due to the plant. How can I help get rid of the marks on him??
I noticed bloat in my flowerhorn about two weeks ago. It was there when I fed him and went away when I didn't. So I treated him with Epsom salt soaked pellets, bloat was present then. Then I noticed white poop so I stopped feeding entirely and added metronidazole 400 to the tank. Didn't work as I only saw white poop, so I added the medication into his food and now I can see brown poop hanging from a clear poop sticking out of his butt. Earlier the poop didn't stick out of his butt. What to do?
Really Need your help! Our turtle tank is all cloudy. Changed water put alges a Really NEED YOUR help. Our turtle Aquarian is all cloudy. Can see the turtle even. I have recently used medication in my 50 gal freshwater fish tank with one 22 year old comet goldfish in it . the meds cured my fish but must have killed my beneficial Bacteria as now my established tank has been going through another nitrogen cycle. It's been four weeks now the ammonia us back to zero so is nitrite zero BUT my nitrates are now spiked about 80 and the water is cloudy. Did 2 partial water changes over the last 8 days.
