Clear water quickly

I bought the 11 oz jar to remove Kanaplex from a hospital tank and it worked well in a mesh bag in the HOB filter. Dosage is 1/2 cup of pellets per 10 gallons. The label doesn't tell you that the 11oz jar only contains 2 cups of pellets so keep that in mind if you have a larger tank. I was treating a 20 gallon so half the jar was used immediately. I don't think I'll need the second cup as the water has cleared but it would be helpful if the label told you how many cups of pellets it contained especially since they recommend you replace 50% of it monthly. It cleared the water and with a water change I'm hoping all the Kanaplex will be removed after a few days.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Turned the water brown in my reef tank until I did enough daily water changes and dialed up the skimmer to clean it out, even after rinsing before placing in the sump. I’m using a higher quality brand now with much better results.

No, I do not recommend this product.
