I was skeptical purchasing this lid online due to the negative reviews with shipping and returns, but the closest store with it in stock was 30 miles away, which I wasn’t going to drive. However, I’m glad I bought it! Came in box with a ton of bubble wrap to prevent any damage! Opened the box to get lid out and it looked perfect and fit my aquarium great!

I ordered this over a month ago using a gift card. The closest store to me that had it in stock was over an hour away, so I had it shipped. Petco shipped it with zero protection and obviously it arrived smashed to pieces. I sent a return request. Two weeks later, I finally received an email that my request was approved and they they sent me a replacement gift card. Except. I never received the gift card. I contacted customer service. Several days later I received another email asking to provide an alternative email address. I created a new Gmail account and gave them the address. Again, several days later they contacted me claiming they sent the gift card again. Again, I received NO gift card. I ended up ordering another for pickup and driving the hour+ to get it. Yet, it's over a month later and I still have not received any refund for the first item that was poorly packaged and was destroyed upon arrival. I want say that you shouldn't buy this item AT ALL. However, Petco has made it so that if you have an Imagitarium brand tank, this is the only lid that fits it properly. They are clearly running a scam, as now I have paid twice for the same item!

They trimmed more glass from the back panel and gave you more plastic rim. It's very difficult to handle since more weight is on one side. And since the tanks rims are much smaller than aqueon, its very easy for this to slip and plunge into the tank and have a corner crack the tank, which happened to me. Thank god the tank is intact but lid has already broken inside my tank.

The shipping package was totally damaged along with product

Item arrived broken. I submitted a return request and have not received a reply (aside from them telling me I would hear back once they reviewed my request) or a refund. Holding onto broken glass while I wait for an authorization. Not happy.
