Love this Tank!j

I guess it depends to set up of your tank. I use mine for my beta and the base between the glass on top perfect for me for my plant filtration and thermometer I put in it. Now I’ve decided to put frogbit, other floating plants and one on top of my piece of wood 🪵 to just have the roots submerged so I’m not even using the lid. It’s perfect size for my desk to enjoy my betta and plants. If you do not want floating plants, I suggest not using a light or put black matte construction paper on one of the sides to prevent the reflection of the betta if the betta continues to get aggressive with it’s reflection. For the price it’s well worth 5 stars.

Yes, I recommend this product.

I bought a 3 but received a 2

I went on line and ordered a 3 gallon b ecause the price was right. What was delivered was a 2 gallon but all the MFG labeling listed the aquarium as a 3 gallon. So the problem isn't Petco but Imagitarium. I decided to keep the 2 gallon because when I checked the price it was a good price even for a 2 gallon tank.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Bought this one about 3 weeks ago... I loooove it! My betta loves it! It's big enough for my male betta to swim and flare up!

Poorly designed lid

Was excited when found this 3 gallon cube aquarium last week but after getting it home find out the lid is not useful. It can easily get knocked off, the glass piece is not square shaped and leaves a wide gap on one side of the tank. Cats can easily reach inside plus its just a ugly bad design. I have the 2.5 gallon rectangular tank with frameless lid and it doesnt have these problems.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Leaking Aquarium - Avoid

Carcar

This 3-gallon rimless aquarium developed a seam leak after just 5 months. Aquariums that fail this quickly put livestock and furniture at risk. Petco only issued a $10 credit instead of a refund. Poor build quality and weak customer support — not worth the risk.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nano Tank

The tank is mostly good for nano tank purposes, but pictures don't really make it clear that the included lid does not cover the entire top of the tank. The feeding hole is obvious, but there is also a 1-inch gap at the back when the lid is installed. I wish it came with a plastic strip in the back to cover that space. I fortunately had some 1/8" plexiglass on hand for another project, so I was able to cut out a new lid from that. But be aware of this gap if you have potential escape artists in mind for your nano tank.

Yes, I recommend this product.
