Internal Care: Change 10-25% of aquarium water every 2-4 weeks, or as needed. Scrub aquarium wall with appropriate glass scrubber to reduce algae growth. Evaporation is common. Ensure water level is maintained.

Bought this tank for $50 on sale, seems fine overall. The issue is, the inside lip of the top opening is narrower than the standard (Aqueon) 29 gallon tank, meaning if you get an Aqueon glass top lid, it will be too big. Imagitarium brand does sell a glass top lid, specifically stating it fits their 29 gallon tank, which I just ordered, and was not expensive. However, it's something to be aware of. I'm not sure why they made that design decision. Otherwise, no issues with the tank.

I bought this tank because it was on sale, and my old tank had a small leak. Now I know why it was on sale! You have to buy all the other parts in the same brand or they will not work! The lid is a special size with a pre cut opening that only fits 1 filter. This was supposed to be an easy swap but it has been a nightmare and a headache. I have been through 2 different lids and 3 (now 4) different filters because of this tank.... do yourself a favor and get the other brand.

No, I do not recommend this product.
