Do not buy
Just like everyone else to small. Why sell tanks and lids that don't fit or work with eachother what a waste of money and time

Lid doesn’t fit across brands.
The lid did NOT fit the 20 long tank I had. At least 1/2-3/4” too short in length. Plus one piece of glass is much narrower than the other to the point that I can barely get my arm in the 29 G Imagitarium tank I bought instead of the 20 long I planned to use. I’ve now purchased a 20 long Aqueon brand lid since that should fit. It hasn’t yet arrived to check the fit. Frustrating that the Imagitarium lid still fits quite loose on the Imagitarium 29 G tank. I had to add some strips I had from a different brand lid that makes them fit more snugly.

Good but doesn't fit with existing filter
The lid itself seems to be fine quality and fits my 20g long Imagitarium tank. I'm currently using an Aqueon 125gph (Large) filter for 20-30 gallon aquariums, and the glass portion of the lid doesn't quite fit even when pressed right up against the filter. The opening lid rests slightly up on the rim rather than in the groove. I will have to see if I can find a filter that fits.

Fits imagitarium aquarium perfect
I bought the 20 long/29 gallon imagitarium gl top. It fit the imagitarium aquarium perfect. Someone said they couldn't put a hang on the back filter. I bought a flaval aqua learn ac 30 hang on the back filter fits with room to spare.

Perfect fit
I bought the 20/29 gallon size for my imagitarium 29 gallon aquarium. It fits perfect. I did read the review where they couldn't put a hang on the back filter on with hood. I had bought a fluval aquaclear ac 30 and it fits great
I have no complaints so fat. The glass is a little thinner than the aqueon top. It fits perfectly.

What are the dimensions of the cuttable plastic space? Will this accommodate a fluval ac 70 filter?
- Check the size of the lid carefully. The Imaginarium lid does not fit the 29G Aequeon tank that Petco sells. It can't be used on it.
