Mesh lids suck, don't buy this piece of garbage!!
Mesh lid is awful for any invertebrates and small animals in general. I HATE MESH LIDS. They don't hold moisture, animals get stuck in them, some can escape, and they're ugly in general. Don't buy this, for your pet's sake.

Extremely sturdy
I love this. My 14lbs cat sleeps on it. (I told him no but he don't care) it holds his weight perfectly with out at worry from me that it won't hold up at this point. Will be returning for more

Is the mesh 10x20 or is the whole thing 10x20? Also will this block out UVB?
- Hi, For a 10-gallon tank, the Imagitarium screen measures 20.6 inches long by 10.5 inches wide, which covers the full top with the frame included. As for UVB light, the metal mesh of the screen will filter some of the light before it reaches your pet. To ensure proper exposure, you can place the screen over the terrarium and position the UVB bulb inside the enclosure at an appropriate distance for your pet's needs. Thanks.

Can I use this for my goldfish?
- Hi Antonio 12, Good day! This screen is meant for tanks in use for housing reptiles. It would not be suitable for a goldfish as there is no room for the necessary filter to fit onto/into the tank, and the screen is metal which can eventually rust with constant water exposure. It will not harm the animal so it could be used safely, but it is not recommended or necessary for a tank housing aquatic life. Thanks

- Yes, but it’s mesh. I use it for my reptiles but also add the clips to keep anyone from escaping

Will this work with the Aqueon Standard Glass Aquarium Tank 10 Gallon (which is 20.25x10.5 instead of this which is 20.6x10.5)?

- If you need one for a 20 gallon long tank, take a look at the 29 gallon screen - it fits 20 long tanks as well.

- Please do not put rats in glass enclosures. They are prone to respiratory infections and they must have airflow.
