just bought this 2 weeks ago and my fish died I took this product to a testing facility and the test confirmed this product has a chemical that's very harmful to fish

Almost perfect, but...
So, I really, really like this beautiful piece of decor. So does my Betta. However, the only problem is that the interior is very rough. I don't think this would've been a huge issue if I had some other kind of fish, but my Betta happens to be a halfmoon double tail with rather enormous fins. He enjoys hiding in it, but the other day I noticed his dorsal fin looked a little ragged and was missing a chunk. So, I think this is a good choice in some cases, just maybe not for a Betta.

Thinning of rock?
Bought this set about one month ago. Overall, it’s a great addition- fits the aesthetic well, my fish all love it, but I’ve noticed since putting in the tank that the rock is starting to thin at the bottom and the holes are widening. Is this normal?

I purchased this set a month ago, and it’s a great hideaway for my angel fish, Molly and beta, they love it! However since putting it the tank, it’s been wearing down. The holes have gotten bigger and the bottom has thinned.

Hiding fish must have!
I purchased this for my betta, as they like to have hiding places. Mine seems to be quite social and not-so-much a hider - but he appreciates this nonetheless! It's roomy for him so I don't worry about it ripping his fins. The inside surfaces are gritty rough, but doesn't seem to be harmful in that way. My snail has been all over it as well!

Could this affect the pH of the aquarium? I have keep adding pH Down to keep the water at the 7.0 level. Otherwise, the pH rises to almost 7.6.
- No decor isn't raising ur ph and generally 7.6 is safe check ur ammonia level and such or your water source

Would a snake enjoy this?
- Definitely not! First of all, the small rock would be a bit too small for most pet snakes to fit through. Second, rocks are covered in sharp aquarium sand, especially inside. You snake would probably get tons of scratches and they might even create crevasses in the body and the sand could get stuck in them, causing infection.
