We have 1 1/2yr old Ragdoll female. At a steady 8.6 pounds/small frame. Area in front of back legs seems a little skinny. A couple of internet sites seems to suggest IAMS Proactive Health, Healthy Kittens is ok for adults to gain weight in view of it's extra protein and fat. Is that ok for 8.6 lb female.

Our 1 1/2 year old female ragdoll feline started loosing patches of fur for last 2 weeks. No scabs/raw spots on skin. Vetinarian concludes not fleas or ringworm. No known environmental changes or new house products. Now starting Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein Adult HP for 2-3 weeks in case it's food allergies. It's $50 for 7.7 lbs. I current feed my cat science diet for kittens she will be a year old in August. Which science diet do I incorporate when she is an adult. She is an indoor cat if that helps.
I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. However, she now wants wet food and I have no clue what to give her. I read up on Merrick and am unsure which specifically to buy. Help! Please and thank you!
Hello! My cat may have a food allergy which has made her lick and bite her skin resulting is big patches of hair loss. I've gone through the different foods she's been on and found that chicken by-product meal, animal fat, pork fat, and liver flavour are all used in the food, which I believe can be the culprit. What good quality food do you recommend without these, and that won't break the bank?
