How can I help reduce the stress level in my Terrier Mix young adult dog during a move that will require car travel for over 1200 miles (or 2 days of car travel) in the past she has gotten physically ill (vomiting) in the car even with Homeopathic calming drops given?.!
My poor Blair is miserable. She has had anxiety issues since she was a puppy and because this is her first experience with fleas she is having difficulty dealing with it. We are having a thunderstorm right now and my dog is losing his mind. He's always been afraid of storms and nothing I do is helping to calm him. He's also pooping reddish brown, jelly like poo. He went on the bathroom floor and there was one solid poo and the rest was little reddish brown jelly spots all over. This is not the first times he's gone like this.

Pitbull terrier was prescribed Panalog for ear infection today. Gave dose (maybe a bit more than I should in 1 ear) and dog shook a lot out. He was shaking his head a lot and panting afterwards. I gave benadryl (50mg) to help him with scratching & sleep. He calmed down and Slept an hr. But he's awake and has been periodically shaking his head/scratching since then and can't get comfortable enough to sleep. What to do?
I asked a question a few days ago about how to help my cat with his extreme anxiety when traveling. I tried feliway spray which hardly did anything and my cat screamed and cried and scratched the whole way home. I was wondering if in the future he needs to travel with me, would it be ok to give him 1/2 of one of my alprazolam? I have 0.25mg tablets that I’m prescribed for panic and anxiety. Is this safe to give him rarely or does he really need a vet visit first?
I'm boarding my dog for 7 days, vet gave me 100 mg Trazadone to be given 2X day. he weighs 57 lbs. At home 50 MG will relax him into sleep. Should I start giving a time frame before boarding? He growls at attendance, and refuses to go outside for potty breaks. He is a rescue and a boxer Thank you
Can a dog have unflavored pedelite when she is sick. She won’t eat or drink. She is 45lbs.
9 yr old boxer acting nervous/anxious. Started at 8pm. Fine all day long. Will not lie down and continues to pace the house. Shows no sign of injury or pain. Dog is shaking. Not on any meds. Dog had surgery 10 months ago for bulging herniated disc, cervical. Ate normally, twice today. Indoor dog, but lays outside most of the day. Heart rate normal and no signs of distress.
