I bought my blue nose pit bull a 3 pack of the Himulain cheese chews , he finished one in about 10 minutes. To me and my crazy dog , not worth the money he spends. He is special. My review is only because my dog is nutz

Says it’s a hard chew and lasts long. My dog went through this within 2 hours and scattered small sharp shrapnel all over my floor. Worse than stepping on legos. Second day - soft stool. Two days later, persistent vomit and diarrhea. He’s so lethargic right now all he’s been doing is sleeping. It smells horrid when throwing it up and you can see the chunks of cheese in it. After 2 days and picking up his coming, I found a chunk of cheese in it that did not soften, it was hard like rubber. My boy is in bad shape right now

Our Maltese, Bailey, asked me to write this as his paws are too big for the keyboard, so here goes..... My Daddy gets these for me for 2 reasons, I love them and they keep my teeth clean so I don't have to be sedated to have them cleaned. We play a game called "Steal My Bone". Daddy cuts them into thirds because my mouth is not real big. He then tries to steal it. I growl and bark and nip at him (but never bite him). If he does steal it, he gives it back. My Daddy has bought 168 of these in the 2-pack. These bones are Maltese approved. I would recommend them to other dogs, even those not fortunate enough to be a Maltese.

I’ve purchased quite a few of these over the past year or so. My two dogs love them and chew on them before bed. I love that they last for a long while. I’ve also given these as gifts for my friends who have pups that love to chew!

Do I have to watch my schnauzer when she is eating this.  Because I bought it for her to stop chewing the door frame when I leave the house.

    I have a senior girl... will these chews help her breathe... she’s also allergic to anything with feathers (so NO FOWL in any form)....knowing these few items which would you recommend?

      I’m not sure how it would help her to breathe. But my miniature dachshund loves to chew on them. It helps to keep his teeth clean. When the piece starts to get small enough that I’m concerned he might choke on it, I put it in the microwave for 20-30 seconds and it puffs right up like a Cheeto!

    Regarding the advice to microwave leftover small pieces of the chew: How small is small? Would a piece that's about 1 inch be too big?

      Thank you for your question. A 1" piece is the maximum size we recommend microwaving to ensure that it will puff up internally as well as externally. I recommend watching the piece in the microwave as different wattages (we base it off an 1100 watt) and altitudes may affect how long it will need to be puffed. Once done, please let the piece cool for a few minutes before giving it to the dog.

      I believe they are made in Nepal but I can be wrong. They are made from Yak milk so I guess we have herds of yaks out west, in Colorado.
