Fantastic!

My cat is extremely picky, so it has always been a little tricky to find any higher quality cat food that she likes. She absolutely loves the pouches! She loves gravy-like wet food and there's a perfect amount of gravy for her liking. She requires variety and doesn't want the same flavor 2 meals in a row, so I am a huge fan of the variety pack. The pouches are very easy to open and store.

New kibble is too small for dogs

A. K.

Im soooo disappointed in the new small size kibble of science diet fog food…it’s more the size of cat food! My dog does not chew it at all; it’s so small that my dog licks it up without chewing; just terrible! A larger “prior size kibble” is more suitable to encourage chewing of the dog food! I do NOT like the new size kibble!!!!

My vet recommended this product as my dog had some stomach issues and pancreas problems, we tried and his problems were resolved. We continued to use Hills, and I can't believe how excited my dog is at feeding time he absolutely loves this stuff. It a little pricey but it's worth it.

Cat urinary food WORKS for stones!

Lindsay

Cat urinary track food DOES work to break down stones in the bladder for cats. One month ago we were told he needed surgery we decided to give your food a shot first. Today the vet called and said he no longer has the stone and the food worked. I wanted to pass this along for anyone in the future that may have a cat with stones. Give this food a chance before surgery. Thank you so much. My cat will continue on this to prevent any in the future. This was a miracle for us.

Great food for tiny dogs.

I have a 3 year old 2 1/2 pound Chihuahua and he loves this food. This is the first adult food he has eaten. I had a very difficult time finding a food that is not chicken. He has very itchy skin and the vet thinks it might be a chicken allergy. The tiny pieces are the perfect size for his tiny mouth.

Questions

1 - 10 of 27 Questions

Which is the best for an 8 month old pitbull?

  1. Science diet puppy

Until what age do you recommend feeding the Science Diet puppy food before switching to adult food?

  1. Thank you for your inquiry. Our Science Diet Puppy Small Bites Chicken & Barley Recipe Dog Food is recommended for the first 12 months of your dog's life. Hill's Pet Nutrition

My dog is allergic to beef and pork. I noticed your dry chicken has "pork faloring" I'm wondering if she might be allergic to this as well. What is pork faloring anyway?

  1. We bought the chicken because it was the Puppy version and small bites. We have always used Science Diet for all of our dogs and never had any problem or allergic reaction. Science Diet is the only dry food we feed our dogs. I do not know what pork flavoring is...

I have a 6 month old Frenchton Puppy, what is best dry dog food for her.

  1. We have had our Mini-Schnauzer, now almost 2 years old, on Hills since we got him. It was recommended by the breeder and by the vet. We kept him on strictly dry food for the first year and then gradually added a bit of wet food to his dry food.as he got older. He is in great health! I highly recommend the Hills puppy dry food.

I have a chihuahua puppy mix, but I don't know what food to give him. What Hills Science Diet Dry Food is best for him?

  1. Thank you for your question. We have a couple of puppy products to choose from such as this one or our Science Diet Small Paws for small and toy breeds. Since we do not have all the information about your puppy, the best person to address your questions is your veterinarian for a food recommendation. Hill's Pet Nutrition

Which hill science type I have to feed my 16 months goldendoodle puppy. Very picky eater. Appreciate your responses

  1. Salmon flavor 1+ science diet

I have a Chihuahua/Poodle mixed puppy, which one is better Hill's Science Diet Small Bites or Hills Science Diet Small Paws puppy dry food? and if I want to mix it with a Hill's Diet wet food which one should i give him SMALL BITES OR SMALL PAWS WET?

  1. Thank you for your question. We recommend feeding Hill's® Science Diet® Puppy Small Paws™ formulas if your puppy will be under 25 pounds when full grown. Hill's Pet Nutrition

Which is best for a 4 month old pit bull puppy

  1. I would go with science diet for puppies. I don’t believe for the Pitbull you would need the small bites size

What is the best food for a puppy shitzu?

  1. With all of our puppies...we have used nothing but Hills Science Diet Puppy dry food. We start with the smaller bits then up to the little larger bits for puppies. Our dogs love this food. We have never had any dietary issues with any of our dogs. When they reach adulthood, we still stay with Hills Science Diet! Hope this helps!!

i noticed that the weights for feeding instruction are precise like 5lbs - feed this much or 8lbs - feed this much rather than approximate like 5 - 8 lbs - feed this much. my small breed puppy is 6.5lbs, so how much should I feed her?

  1. Thank you for your question. Our feeding guide for our puppy food is not just based off weight, but age as well. We would not be able to determine a feeding amount without the age of your small breed puppy. Hill's Pet Nutrition
