I am looking for a canned pate cat food that DOES NOT have carageenan in it and is grain free. Is the sensitive stomach and skin chicken and veg entree a pate, grain free and most importantly carrageen free?

Hi I was speaking with one of your vets before about senior diet cat foods that are less stressful on the kidneys. Suggestions were purina pro plan 11+, hills science 11+ & royal canin aging 12+, all canned. He wasn't crazy about these but seems to like hills science diet mature 7+ savory chicken minced canned entree. It says its also lower in phosphorus but would love someone's opinion or experience with this food. Thx!!
My male cat recently had cytene (not sure of spelling) crystals. The vet said he needs to eat Hill's Science Diet canned food. My cat is 15 pounds so that means I would have to feed him two cans a day at a cost of over $100 a month. Is there any other food that I could give him. Plus the fact Hill's has corn and corn gluten in it.

I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. After cat fight & treated at vet with Covina, rabies, anti inflam shot, my indoor/outdoor cat recovered indoors for 3 weeks. He started going outside again in a limited way. He gained weight. About 2-3 pounds. He is getting a tummy. Pics attached. His diet (per day) is free eating Hills Science dry perfect weight chicken, 2 to 2.5 (3oz cans fancy feast, (about 1/2 can at a time when he requests) & occasionally cooked chicken meat. Any suggestions how to loose weight / diet ? Thanks
