Hills makes more profits, adds junk to food

Dissatisfied customer

What a joke! You show a SMALL picture of the old ingredients and the new profit saving formula. How many people actually know you have changed this until they are out and need a new bag? Even then, they might not read anything…why would they…? Why does hills refuse to list the max fat ? Kinda like your car showing you only when you are at the min level. What is hills hiding.

Consumer Affairs
Thank you for your feedback. The manufacturing runs for our products, which will soon have a reformulation, will include banners on the front of the packaging as a form of notification. In February of 2025 we will relaunch this formula to include our ActivBiome+ Multi-Benefit Bundle which is an advanced blend of prebiotic fibers and antioxidants support digestion, bolster the immune system, and support organ health. When the formula is changed, we recommend a transition from the old to the new formula. Our suggested transition process is over a seven day period. The guaranteed analysis is provided on the bag or can to give you a general idea of the nutrient content. However, if you would like to know the actual nutrient content of the product, you will need to look at the dry matter basis nutrient percentages on our website. We hope this helps.

I have a 7 yr old very finicky chihuahua, I bought every nigh priced, rave reviews dog food and he would not even touch it . My friend brought him science diet , I have never had him to finish entire bag of food ever. He eats two meals per day and will clean his bowl. He’s more active and just overall healthier.

Making the food switch

Wilson

My Wilson is 10+ shih tzu. He has been a pick eater and he has slowed down a lot. We made a switch from Pro Plan. It’s been about 7-10 days. He seems to have his grove back. And he is eating his food right away. I’m so happy we switched him!!!! He’s happy and that makes me happy
