How long is the shelf life?
- Thank you for your question. Our canned products are guaranteed fresh until the best before date on the bottom of the can. Hill's canned products are guaranteed fresh for 24 months from the date of manufacture, provided they have been handled and stored properly. The product should be stored between 50 and 100 degrees F. Ideally, products should be kept at room temperature. Storage at temperatures below 50 degrees F for more than four days may change the texture, but does not alter the nutritional value of the food. Do the size measurements for the martingale collars count both the nylon and the chain loop?

How wide are the large and x-large collars? Are they 1 or 2 layers thick?
- I ordered a large martingale quick release collar for my GSD, and it is about 1 1/2" wide, the weave is fairly durable, and about 1 layer thick. It is heavier in weave though than her regular collar, so I am assuming it might be woven with a thicker nylon?
