Questions
I have two 4 year old cats. They normally eat Indoor Adult 1-6 Science Diet. My roommate accidentally bought Indoor 7+. Will the age difference in the food change negatively affect my cats
- It should not as long as you go back to the correct age next time. Trust me I have had 2 Huskies and at one time 9 cats and I have gotten the bags mixed a couple times. I stayed with Hills and that was the main thing.

Is the Indoor 7+ OK to give to a cat that is about 13 years old?
- Hill's makes an 11+ chicken recipe and it can be ordered on line from Petco. You may also want to make sure your kitty is current with the vet in the event there is a special diet need for health reasons.

Looking for a softer dry food, cat has mouth tumor & prefers dry food need something not as crunchy
- While this food is crunchy, I have discovered that you can soften it by adding a little warm water or broth to a small portion of it. I mash it and my cat likes it very much.

Is there salmon or tuna option for this brand?
- Not that I am aware but, my cats have always eaten the chicken with no problems.

do you have hills science diet indoor adult 1-6 available for delivery. How about your house brand clumping litter? Friskies Party Mix cat treats?
Is this product OK for cats between 7 and 11 years old?
- Yes, our oldest cat, pure bred himalayan is almost 16yr and she has been on Science Diet Hairball Control since she was 4 or 5. We have 2 rescue kitties, one is 6 and the other is 2. They both are on the hairball formular. We started them each of them on reg. Science Diet, for their age. Our 1st rescue would not eat anything but what her "sister" ate which was the hairball control. So it worked out fine as the rescue was about 2 yrs.old. However. 2 yrs ago, a kitty. About 8 wks old found his way to our home in the middle of winter and we had to keep him. We started him off on SD kitten. but within 6 wks, he wanted to be part of the family too, and gobbled the SD Hairball control and wouldn't eat anything else. Said all of that to say from our experience and blessings from our vet, All 3 have thrived on SD hairball. AND our 16 yr Himalayan has slowed some, but can give the young ones a run for the money when she she gets tired of them aggravating her. SCIENCE Diet Hairball Control you rock!!

is the pellets or the big star shape
- Thank you for your question. All of our Science Diet® indoor and hairball control dry cat foods would have a larger triangular shaped kibble. This larger kibble size helps cats pass hair through the digestive tract. If you are looking for a smaller pellet shaped kibble, we would recommend our Science Diet® Senior 11+ Age Defying™ Cat Food.

age to move to "senior" cat food?
- Hi! We recommend that you begin a gradual transition from the Adult to the Mature Adult food around the time you cat is turning 7 years old. Thanks for your question.

would science diet be good for my mature adult persian and does it come in different flavors?
- The science Diet original hsa very tiny round pieces, much smaller than the mature. I don't know about other flavors. My cats like the original and mature just fine and they thrive on it.
