[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog transitioned very well to this dog food. I like and I think he likes the small size of the kibbles. They are easy for him to crunch and eat. I like that the kibbles don't have any artificial preservatives or colors. That it has easy to digest ingredients. I like that it also supports digestion, immune and overall health of small dogs.

He has done well with this food, but for being a mini, 5 lbs, the kibble bites sometimes seem a little large for his little mouth. Upon receiving the SD mini dog food, I compared the pieces of kibble. The SD kibble is significantly smaller. This has allowed my dog to eat from his bowl rather than getting one piece at a time and taking it somewhere to eat. HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone with a small, mini, or toy breed dog.

She really did like it, and I didn’t have to wean her off the raw food that she normally eats. Also I like that it will help to maintain her weight. I do recommend the Hill’s science dog food.

But once the bag was opened and some in her bowl she was very excited and finished it quickly. She’ll even enjoy it from my hand. Thank you for the opportunity to try something I might of not had. But they have had noticeably more regular bathroom breaks, and I feel better knowing that the morsels are small and they can eat them comfortably.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog is a huge fan of this kibble! He typically turns his nose up at any type of hard/dry food and eats fresh and gently cooked proteins. I mix his proteins & fresh food with a premade boxed “fresh” wet food for balance but he often eats around it and I have to supplement with a multivitamin or a balancer mix so he gets all the nutrients he needs. Now that he is loving this kibble I can count on it for the balance he needs in his diet. I also like the dry kibble for his teeth as he isn’t able to eat hard bones. Since he has been eating this daily his more often than not soft poops are more solid and formed for the first time since I rescued him years ago. His weight hasn’t increased since starting this food which normally happens when we change his diet. His energy has increased and the mild allergy symptoms he was starting to show have all cleared. Impressed with all this progress in such a short time! Great food for your small dog!
