What does a small dog breed mean? Mine is a 4.5 year old Dachshund (16 pounds). He has to be on the Science diet according to the Vet. Should I order the Small/Toy Breed cans or Hill's Science Diet Adult (13oz)?

But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? She is not eating the Natural chicken and sweet potato cans I ordered. She is almost 14 years old. I have tried most of the Senior diet but the chicken and barley makes her belly bloat.
