My dogs are 9&11, they have issues w itching and licking their paws a lot. They have been on Proplan chicken, since pups. Wondering if the lamb and rice in this brand would be better
- It does not help my dog, who also has these issues. She is four and itches a lot during the warm and hot months. Now that cooler weather is here she is less likely to have that problem. She is four years. But, as with people, your dog may react different. Only way to know is to try. Good luck.

Hello, I have a two-year-old Staffordshire mix that weighs 44 lb (20 kg). She is moderately active and currently doing intensive behavioural training. Hey there, we have been feeding my mixed dog rice, ground hamburger, peas, carrots and dog food for about 6 months now and he seemed fine up to now. He has some horrid breath and seems to be losing weight... could it be the food. No bones, ribs or spine are showing.
Just recused this little guy... very malnourished, just started gaining some weight. He is missing many teeth so eating is a problem, he does he the small bites. Any other food you can recommend for weight gain, older dog with no teeth? Also a treat, maybe something that will dissolve, can he have gerber puffs baby snacks as treats???
Puppy been eating 1/2 his meals (normal meal consists of 1/3 cup kibble) over the last 3 days. Has had high activity including a 4 mile run one day, 2 mile walk another and 5 mile walk today. Been supplementing by placing portion of meal in challenge toy. Shows no signs of behavioral changes and remains very active/playful. Sleeping a bit more...but we expect that d/t his ^ activity. I have been wondering this for a while now. But I recently (Dec 5 2018) adopted a lovely 1 year old male cat who I was told weighted 10lbs when i got him. Now they did tell me his food (hill science diet adult 1-6) but not how much he was eating. So I followed the guidelines on the bag which said 1/2 cup for a 10lbs cat.
