RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? She had pancreatitis 2 times and consulted the vet and was told she cannot eat too much oily food.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe that my dog has a sensitive stomach. He uses a slow feeder but still throws up. We feed him Science Diet Sensitive stomach & skin dry food, recommended by his vet. And an elevated food bowl. But he still throws up. I gave the vet a fecal sample and his results were normal. I was thinking maybe there are ingredients that my dog may be allergic to? What are some common allergies in dogs? And do you recommend better dog food? Thank you!

I have a 5 year old, 75lb Catahoula leopard mix. He doesn't seem to like any dog food. Ever since he had a liver issue a year ago, he's been weird with eating. Before he would gulp his food down. He also seems to have a sensitive stomach now. I've tried merrick LI with goats milk and crumpled treats on top. It worked at first very well but now he doesn't want it. I've tried a different, more palatable, Elm in 3 flavors-lamb duck and salmon. Doesn't want any of them. Warm water doesn't work ether
Whats best dog food w/ zero chicken (no by product etc? has IBD (via ultrasound&GI Panel-no scope) We’ve tried almost all IBD vet food (RC HP, RC low fat GI, Hills...) I have researched & doc. his symps. For a year now &95% positive hes having (bloating after eating, licking/biting paws, loud bowel sounds all worse after eating,normal poop, no vomit)from a food allergy. He’s on pred & meds. Im going to do elimating diet but I want to find food w/no chicken to start off w/during this process
My two year old black lab has a very sensitive stomach & terrible skin allergies. He is currently eating Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. I don’t believe this is working for him because he has terrible gas, frequent itching & licking despite taking an allergy medication, & very loose stool. My dog has sensitive stomach issues. If she has something she doesn’t agree with (which is pretty much everything) after 3 days she has very soft mucous like stool. This has been going on for months. We had her on hyrdrolyzed protein but after a 2 months she started reacting to that as well. Now we have her on hill’s science diet for sensitive stomach which has been working fine. No dog treats. Our vet is aware but she hasn’t really told us if this is a fix or if it’s just masking the problem?
We have a 12 week old Lab Puppy, we were switching her food gradually from Tuffy’s Puppy Gold to Blue Buffalo Puppy. For 2 1/2 weeks she had diarrhea, still drank normal and her normal energy level. On Sat we put her on chicken and rice after we had eliminated her treats as the source. Her accidents stopped during this time as well. Last night I started adding Hills Science diet to her dinner, maybe 1/8 cup and she had a very soft stool this morning. Not diarrhea though. Any thoughts?? Thanks!
Hi, what is the best puppy food for my 5-month-old puppy? He seems to have a sensitive stomach. Had mild diarrhea almost constantly with Diamond puppy food and then we switched to Taste of the Wild he vomited and horrible diarrhea. We went to chicken and rice, was great with firm poops, now we are transitioning to Wellness puppy chicken, and diarrhea is starting again.

2 yr German Shepherd had been eating Hills Science Diet for the last week and a half or so... now seems lethargic, turns away from the wet food so he knows it's bad, stools are normal but softer.
