Delicious and nutrient packed food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom, I want the best for my kids, including the 4 legged child. My little man is getting older and I’m happy to give him a dry food that is nutrient rich and designed for his size and issues. As soon as he hears the scoop hit the kibble, he comes a running. The size of the kibble is perfect for him to easily eat and chew. I don’t think he has any stomach issues but i like to give him a nutrient dense meal that helps prevent problems and keeps his skin and coat healthy. I like that I can read the ingredient list and know what the items are. I feed him this twice daily and in the evening I mix in a little wet food. He loves it. Win win.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I transitioned my older dog to this. She loved the wet canned dog food as a topper and gobbled it up. She devoured the food and seemed to do great for about a week before she began to have stomach issues. I think the food was too rich for her. She had diarrhea on and off and then began to throw up so I had to discontinue the food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] weeks. The small kibble size is perfect—easy for small and medium dogs to chew and gentle on their stomachs. What impressed me most is how quickly the benefits showed. My dog’s coat became softer and I noticed less scratching. The ingredients are high-quality and formulated specifically for sensitive dogs, and it really shows in how happy and comfortable my dog is now. Plus, she absolutely loves the taste, which is a huge bonus! If your dog struggles with tummy troubles or skin irritation, Hill’s Science Diet Sensitive Stomach & Skin Small Bites is truly worth trying. It’s been a total transformation for us!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dogs are two of the pickiest eaters ever! As soon as I gave them the bowl, they gobbled it up! I was shocked! It was the first time that they didn’t turn their noses up. I feel so happy because not only did they love it, but it’s healthy and helps with thier sensitive tummies! A double win!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog Abby has a sensitive stomach at times so I have to be careful what food we feed her, and on top of that she's a picky eater. We tried the Hill's Science Diet Adult Sensitive Stomach & Skin Small & Mini Chicken Recipe Dry Dog Food and she liked it and had no stomach issues. She is a small dog, a dachsund mix.

Questions

Is this algo for senior chihuahuas? Mine is 8 years old. I tried to look for senior version in small breed too. I couldn’t find.

  1. I used this for my 18 & 13 yr olds for a while but switched to Hill's Adult 7+ small paws chicken, barley, & brown rice formula. The kibble pieces are about the same size.

My 5 year old chihuahua recently gained a couple pounds out of nowhere. For the past almost two years I have gave her 1/2c of purina pro plan for small dogs. Will this food help her loose weight? I will also be increasing her exercise. Thank you!❤️

  1. I had to decrease the amount of food I gave my dog in order to get him to lose weight. This food helps them not be so itchy.

can a puppy six and a half months eat this. If not what do you recommend? He has sensitive stomach and skin.

  1. I'm not sure if it's good for puppies. I think I'd ask my vet.

Does this kibble contain ingredients to help my maltipoo's little joints?

  1. My Maltese Mix ate this food for awhile but I have since switched her to a prescription diet. This food is high calorie and I only bought it because her stomach is very sensitive to food. It's a good food but I never saw any difference in her coat and there is nothing to indicate on the bag that this helps out joints. I do think they make a food for that and also Cosequin is a good joint supplement. Good Luck. :)

What is the calorie content per cup

  1. 397 calories

I'm looking 4 a dry food 4 a 10 year old Chihuahua who is showing signs of arthritis and possibly luxating patella on L rear knee. I have read that it would be good to try to get them to their proper weight before resorting to surgery-4 obese dogs.

  1. Thank you for your question. Due to your special pet's medical condition we would suggest that you speak to your veterinarian for a food recommendation. Hill's Pet Nutrition, Inc. offers a full line of therapeutic products which are formulated for the management of certain health issues that can develop in pets. The product that will work best for your pet depends upon his or her individual circumstances and is something that your veterinarian will have to help you to determine. Hill's Pet Nutrition

In the reviews it sounds as if the majority of the dogs are small. My dog weighs 120 pounds. Does anyone have experience with this product and big dogs?

  1. I have had large dogs and small dogs on science diet and I’ve always been pleased with their health. Follow the recommended for small dogs and large dogs on feeding portions with any dog food but science diet was able to get a smaller dog that I had in the right shape by following the amount of food and cutting out treats for larger dogs it did help out for their coat and their overall well-being
