I am totally discouraged about the new stuff in the food and not to mention, that I stocked up case after case because in the winter it's hard to buy this from some places, NOT TO MENTION MY DOG IS ALLERGIC TO ALL SORTS OF FOODS AND SHE HAS BEEN USING THIS SINCE SHE WAS 4 MONTHS OLD AND SHE IS NOW 5 AND SHE REFUSES TO Even EAT IT. I REALLY Didn't KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG, AND I SAID MY GOODNESS I Have NEVER HAD THESE ISSUES..

Consistency of mush!

Jackie

I have been buying this for my 15 and 17 year old Pekingese for a couple of years now. It started out great and cut down on the stomach issues they have. But, the last 6 cases I have bought are the consistency of mush! This is almost impossible for them to eat and my 17 year old female has stopped eating it and begs for kibble instead! I don’t know what is happening with this product, but it’s definitely a problem!

Consumer Affairs
Thank you for your feedback. We are disappointed to hear of your experience. It is our goal, that with each purchase of your pet’s food, that you will experience the same high quality and consistency. However, normal variations in product can occur as a result of normal variations in ingredients or processing. While it is difficult to tell the exact cause for this change in texture, we can assure you that this variation has no impact on the nutritional value of the food. A freshly produced product can appear softer or stickier and will generally increase in firmness as it ages. If you go from using an older can to a newer can, there might be a noticeable difference in texture. To meet specific nutritional needs, some of our formulas have higher levels of carbohydrates. Products with this unique nutrient profile may experience textural changes upon large temperature fluctuations. Please know that all of our products are 100% satisfaction guaranteed. If you would like to take advantage of this guarantee, please return the unused portion of the product to the place of purchase for a refund or exchange.

Mushy,smelly canned food

Have been using this canned food for over a year. Tessa loved it. BUT two weeks ago I purchased my usual 4 cans and I noticed that it seemed very mushy and didn't have the great Salmon smell. It gave Tessa pretty bad diarrhea. Took her off it. Went to pet store today and bought one more can thinking I may have gotten a bad batch earlier....but Nope, still same mushy bad smelling. I know previous post from Co. said it's the same formula as always, but I'm here to tell you ...it's NOT. Such a shame because she really liked it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I have had my boxer on just the dry food but recently he decided not to eat his food. So I went looking for a wet food to add to his diet. Because he decided he wasn’t eating I chose the sensitive stomach brand to add to his diet. I mix about a third of a can to his breakfast and he’s eating it

Yes, I recommend this product.

Is this food for dogs with loose stools only because my dog doesn't have that problem.  She vomits sometimes and is 13 years old.  Otherwise she's fine.

  1. My 15 yo Shih-Tzu has a very sensitive stomach and vomits but not since she has been on this !!! It may help yours as well.
