Recommend ordering online--

When I buy these in store, they are dry and as far as wet food is concerned its hard to break up. My yorkie doesn't seem to like it like that so I have to add broth or something to make it more appealing. When I ordered a case online to be shipped, those seemed much more fresh. The consistency is better and softer. Both are well before expiration dates, but idk why the ones in store are so bad. As far as sensitive stomach's go, his bowel movements are more solid and consistent, so for that reason I would recommend it for tummy issues.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Thank you for your feedback. Dry and dense canned product can be the result of exposure to very cold temperatures during transportation and distribution. We want to assure you this consistency variation has no effect on the nutritional value of the food. I switched from Purina Pro Plan to Hills Science Diet about a year ago and it is the best decision I ever made. My chihuahua was overweight and always had upset stomach issues from Purina. After switching over to Hills Science Diet perfect weight, my chihuahua looks a lot thinner and doesn’t have any more upset stomach issues. Thank you Hills Science Diet! ☺️

Seamless weight loss maintained over time

The suggestions on the package about how to transition my pet from her previous food type to this works GREAT. I think of it as painless, seamless weight loss. Her activity level is good. Her appetite is good. This food is great. I did NOT receive this food as part of any "promotional" offer. I switched her to it because she would benefit from loosing weight.

I Will Continue to Buy This Science Diet Food

I have a little Miniture Border Collie. He is a foodie I now find. I adobted him when his orginal parent didn't want him any more and he is 10yrs old. I could see from his Vet charts he used to be very overweight at 22lbs. This is very heavy for a dog of his size plus the fact he lives for food no matter the number of walks. He down to 17 lbs. and holding steady. He seems to love the food however I do get the cans also and put two heaping tablespoon of can food mixed up really good. He eagerly eats it and loves it. I will keep him on this food as it is working great. It also allows him to eat more amount of food than if on regular dog food. He has tons of energy and at ten years can jump3 1/2 feet up to a high bed with no problem. Wow, trying to get him to take the stairs we got but he hasn't caught on yet.

I have used this for about 2 years now. My Maltese was very over weight it took awhile but she is down 3 pounds with the weight management dry food. My other baby has kept a steady weight. We really love the quality and the fact it does what it's supposed to
