I have been feeding Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight dry food mixed with their Perfect Weight. Chicken Vegetable Stew (1/3 cup dry, 2 Tbs. Wet, 2x/day). I am thinking of switching to the wet food, which he seems to prefer. If i do, how much should I be feeding him (2 small meals per day)?

I am putting my cat on a diet to shed a few pounds (he is around 18lbs right now). I am going to give him "Hill's Science Diet Adult Perfect Weight" canned wet food. My question is, how much of the canned wet food should I give him per day? Half a can in the morning and then the other half in the evening? These are 2.9-oz cans. I want to do what's best for him. I hate seeing him overweight and unhappy. Any advice you can offer would be so so great, as finding info online is very hard. Thank you.

My dog has been on a grain free soy free and chicken free food for about 8 months, He is 3 and has been gaining weight. He eats about 1/2 can of food twice a day and maybe a handful of dry food in between. He is never been a very active dog. He is part beagle and part chihuahua. RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? She had pancreatitis 2 times and consulted the vet and was told she cannot eat too much oily food.

She’s currently on Hills Science Diet Youthful Vitality, but her vet said she should be on a grain less low calorie food. What do you suggest? We have a 25 lb labradoodle that must eat hills prescription diet w/d. She has slowly gotten tired of the food and we have been adding bits of chicken and even hamburger to get her to eat. That has been successful but is now wearing off to the point where all she wants is the meat. Any suggestions as to how to entice her to eat? She is healthy otherwise.
