My sweet best friend now 10 started getting joint pain and arthritis with lowering mobility he started gaining weight I was sold by the vet a competitor dog food which made him sick and had added sugar and no omega or glucosamine and trace amounts of vitamins and minerals my college friend an out of state retired veterinarian recommended I try this Hills dry and wet food for joint mobility complete nutrition and omegas plus all the vitamins and supplements needed tasting great Tuxedo loved both the wet chunky and dry with portions measured to his weight he has lost 15 pounds and needs to lose another 10 then maintain his weight. He was on the brink of diabetes and the other food vet formula competition food was awful and the ingredients were not what he needed his stomach issues and mobility went down hill I am glad to say Hills you have gave me hope and now on a schedule food and walking again with omegas and less joint pain he is my happy feeling better puppy acting like he did years ago just slower but so am I! We enjoy our walks and our breaks while out enjoying life and I was in tears now Hills I give him the food and I have tears of not sadness but now joy! My sweet boy has many years left and Hills I thank you for making this food with all the everything he needs to thrive and live his best life if I had kept him on that other food a vet formula that is not good for anything it claims he would still be laying around feeling miserable with health problems who knows what would of happened? Thank you! The senior joint mobility helps lose weight and keeps him happier and healthier than he has been in a long time it works!

We always had Hills Science Diet for our furbabies in our house since as far back as I can remember. Our Cody(peek-a-poo and our Zack (black lab) had the diet for years. They passed away Oct. 2024 and Feb. 2025 respectively at the ages of 19 and 14. We adopted a Catahoula leopard hound female in July of 2025 and she was also recommended Hills for her diet. She likes it alot.

Our dog loves the taste of and we love that it is weight management and joint support.

The food is so expensive for a 25lb bag it is hard to afford to buy

I purchased this dog food for my 24 LB Shetland Sheepdog (Started when she was age 6). She has early arthritis and a bad ankle, that lead me to want to get her a joint supplement or food that gave joint support. With having early arthritis, bad back ankle and Addison's weight management was also needed since she is not walking as far anymore (less exercise but still can walk on a leash for exercise. Just shorter distance). I like this product, it helped me to keep her weight under control, she still feels happy and full after eating and she likes the food taste. She is now 7 years old and doing well. Make sure to check ingredients or with your vet if your dog has specific needs. My dog has no allergies to food and does not need a specific diet. I do not use the suggested serving size on the bag. That is a generalization based on a healthy active dog for the food. My dog is not active enough to eat that amount. I played with the portion size to help her lose weight slowly till she hit her desired weight range. Then added a bit more kibble in until she maintained that certain weight. She got a 1/4 cup twice a day when losing weight and now gets 1/3 cup in the morning and 1/4 cup at night to maintain her weight. The age, breed and activity levels of your dog will influence how much food he or she needs. Depending on the circumstance I would recommend this Perfect weight and joint dog food. I like the Hills Science Diet line since they have dog food for many different circumstances. My other two shelties do not need weight management and extra joint support, so I have them on the sensitive skin and tummy adult food. Shelties can get dry skin and coat, thus making that a good choice for my other two Shetland Sheepdogs.
