Too big

For the dogs

My chiweenie dog loves the flavor but it is way too big for her. I’m scared that she will choke on the pieces. This kibble size is more appropriate for my large Rottweiler dog. He eats science hill as well but his kibble isn’t as big as hers. (His is for joint support)

No, I do not recommend this product.

This food is NOT for small dogs!

The size of the food is GIGANTIC!!!! My poor chihuahua has tartar buildup and has sensitive teeth and gums. I have to crush this food in order for him to be able to eat it. They should be AT LEAST half the size they are… quite disappointed.

Too big and hard

Too big and hard. I thought this for small dogs but it feels like a jawbreaker. Once I crush it he likes it. I don’t know if that defeats the oral care purpose. But unless a a smaller bite mix comes out I’ll probably stick with the other options you guys have.

Not As Expected

I bought this food for dental health and morsel size. Morsel size is not consistently smaller. Some morsels appear to be the same size as medium breed dental health food offered by Hills Science.

Thank you for reaching out to us. It is our goal, that with each purchase of your pet’s food, that you will experience the same high quality and consistency. However, normal variations in product can occur as a result of normal variations in processing. These normal variations will have no impact on the nutritional value of the food and typically do not have an effect on the pet consuming the food. For each of our dry products, we have defined kibble size specification ranges that are maintained for each production batch. Throughout production, kibble size is checked at least three times every thirty minutes at different points in the production process, to ensure that the proper target size is maintained. Larger kibbles could be due to a worn die plate: After thousands of pounds of product are produced the die plate can wear and begin to produce a larger kibble.

Not for small dogs need to make these a lot smaller

Definitely too big and hard for small dogs. I would purchase on a regular basis if they were made for my small dog

Owned by a sassy Yorkie

Yorkie loved the taste but it's the exact size of his airway. I had to cut it up to even let him try it. Dissapointed because he really would have loved this option. This isn't safe for small dogs.

Definitely not meant for small or mini dogs.

I’m very disappointed with this product. I like that it’s geared toward addressing oral care needs but the kibble is huge! My 3.8lb Yorkie (very picky) seems to like the flavor but the kibble is too big and too hard. She gave up halfway through the first kibble. I’ve never seen kibble this big in my life. Why is it labeled “Small & Mini” when it’s clearly not meant for a small or mini dog? My friend has a Mastiff and her food’s food isn’t as big as this.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Excellent diet

Pete the Cav

I've been feeding this to my 16 lb Cav King Chas Spaniel for 3 months. He loves the stuff, takes about 3 hard bites to break it up. Coat, skin, & BM all look great (well as great as a BM can look)! Won't remove all existing tartar but works well to reduce build up.

Yes, I recommend this product.
