Science Hill. SD Canine Adult Light Chicken

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After I received the SD Canine Adult Light Chicken Dog food, my dogs seemed to like it especially my golden retriever, she's a bit over weight. So I figured this was what I needed to give her. Once she started trying it, she seems to like it very well and seems like I can already start seeing that she already lost some. I can also see the difference in her skin and coat also as well. I think it's a very good dog food. My other two seem to like it as well. Another thing I like is that it's packed with nutrients which keeps them healthy. Plus the fact that it's vet recommended. I would most definitely recommend it to my family and friends especially with dogs that are a little bit of being over weight.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We slowly introduced the dog food to our dog Rocco. He just loves eating in general and we noticed that he is on the chunkier side now. We added a little to his food and he enjoyed it. After eating it for awhile we noticed that he seems slimmer and we took him to the vet and he lost 3 pounds. He stills loves to eat but now he isn’t as big anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received SD Canine Adult Light Chicken 30lb dog food from Hometester club. We transitioned our dog over and have seen so much improvement with her weight. Not only has it helped with a healthy weight it has also helped with her coat looking healthy and shinny. We as parents love the natural ingredients and the added Vitamin E. My dog seems to love the taste as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this dog food from home tester club for my dogs to try and they absolutely love it. I saw a big difference in their digestive system and their fur coats looks so much better and they love the food itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog was so excited to try out this SD dry dog food in light chicken flavor and he was just like a puppy aging. He loved the flavor and wanted more his fur was soft and healthy looking and he didn’t have any tummy upset the whole time of try out this dry dog food. His vet gave his two thumbs up and said keep up the good work. I have already looked into another bag of this brand of dry dog food.

Questions

1 - 5 of 5 Questions

Hello Can i learn how can it help for dog gass or fart problem? I have English Bulldog

  1. I would say it does not. I have a boxer and a lab. Neither of them eat anything other than science diet and milk bones. The boxer does and always has had gas.  They’ve been eating science diet for about four years.

I have a 1yr old pit bull mix that is high energy. I’ve been feeding blue buffalo and he’s slowly lost interest in the dry food. I feel he is underweight (you can see his ribs some) and would love a recommendation for maintaining a healthy weight..Thanks!

  1. I feed my 5 yr old husky with this food as it has no grain. Remember it is Light so your dog may not like it.

how strong are lamb bone?

  1. Thank you for your question. Sheep (lambs) are smaller animals than deer, elk, beef etc. therefore their bones are smaller. We would not recommend the lamb rib for a giant dog. Item# 5208 Giant beef bone or #88173 Beef Rib Bones would be better suited for a giant dog.

I am looking for a low protien dog food 16%

  1. you probably needd a renbal diet dog food that requires a vet Rx

I should have a free bag of Science Diet Dog Food Coming

  1. If you have a free bag of dog food coming after buying 10, then Petco will send you a coupon. If you haven't heard from them, please call the 800 number on your receipt where your PALS number is.
