I switch my pup permanently

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with Hill’s Science Diet kibble for my dog. Transitioning was easy. My dog loves it! I did try the chicken then came back to the lamb & brown rice. No GI upset, no skin reactions. No stinky breath! I also love that there is a Bernese Mountain Dog on the front!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog was very happy when I recieved this large bag of Hills Science Diet dog food. No trouble switching over, gave him the energy he needs, and scared it down aggressively. Definitely would recommend to other dog owners out there.

Dogs absolutely loved it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This food was great. The size and crunch was very easy for ym dogs to eat. I love that is is specific for large breads. This made me feel confident feeding it to my husky and shepherd. They couldn't wait to dig into. They devoured their bowls. It quickly became a favorite in our household. They seemed to really enjoy the flavor. My husky has a sensitive belly sometimes and we had no issues switching her over to hills. She actually has has had less tummy accidents after switching which is a huge win over here.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My large dog loves this dog food. He typically is picky when it comes to dry kibble, but he took to it right away. I like that it doesn’t have any of the extra filler in it, which is helpful in me making the decision to not only recommend, but also continue purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My golden retriever Ellie has a super sensitive stomach so I have to be very careful on what I give her or I pay for it and so does she (dog parents you know the dreaded upset stomach) this food was a smooth transition and it didn’t cause her issues which was a sigh of relief. She does well with lamb as a protein and has tried it with other brands so I was glad that this one wasn’t any different. She gobbled this up without issue and I could tell she really enjoyed meal times. The smell of the food was so so to me as the human but I’m glad she enjoyed it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dog food was amazing , I noticed a difference in my dogs appetite and attitude. They were more excited for dinner time and seemed to have developed more energy towards the end of finishing the bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Don't mind the "mess" he likes to drag out clothes to lay on but he seems to enjoy the product, my only issues with it is the size of the food is a big bigger around and that took him bit to adjust to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Science Diet Large Breed Adult Dog Food has been such a great addition to our pups diet! He is a 3 year old yellow lab who is a VERY picky eater. He usually picks at his old dog food, but with this Science Diet Food he has been eager to eat his breakfast and dinner every day! He absolutely loves it. As a dog owner, I’m always very picky about what I feed my pets and I really like the basic ingredients in this food. Great food!

Why does the lamb and brown rice large dog formula have " Chicken Fat, Chicken Liver Flavor" What if your dog is bothered by or have possible allergy to chicken? Although it is not listed as main ingredient it is in there per the ingredients label.

  1. Thank you for your question. We encourage you to consult with your veterinarian to see if either of these ingredients would be of concern for your pet with a chicken allergy. Hill's Pet Nutrition

Why does Hills throw Corgis in with small dogs? Mine loves large bites. He will go get one piece, toss it then pounce on it, chase it half way around the house eat and repeat. He really seems to relish crunching those large chunks.

  1. Thank you for your question. Each pet is different and may have a difference preference as to what they prefer. Hill’s Pet Nutrition

Hello, My dog seem to like the Kibble and his bowel movements are stable now but he has a hard time chewing the kibble.  I used a hammer to break them up and they are really hard.  Do you make a smaller size kibble (same ingredient)that is easier to chew?

  1. Hi Lake effect, Hill’s does make (and we carry) the exact same formula in small bites. The only difference is the below SKU is not large breed specific. You can check the SKU below. SKU: 1592092 Thanks,

Description says the large can hold two dogs—Where can I get a second containment strap for the second dog?

  1. Thank you for your inquiry. Unfortunately, we do not carry replacement containment straps on this product. You would have to contact the manufacturer directly for a replacement. We are happy to provide the manufacturer information if you contact us via phone or Live Help.

At what height will my dog sit in the interior of the medium vs the small?

what size should i buy for a 9 or 10 lb chihuahua/rat terrier mix?

  1. Thank you for your question. The small is intended for dogs up to 18 lbs.

Not sure of size. 18"+/- head to toe laying on side. She does sleep alot this way. Havanese 10+/- pounds. Should I go for medium or stay w small? Also

  1. Thank you for your question. Please see the sizing information below. Measure your pet and compare your pet's dimensions to the seats' interior dimensions. Also, measure your vehicle seat's dimensions and compare to the seats' exterior dimensions. Since all vehicles vary, the size you order will need to reflect the size of the space available in your vehicle as well as the size of your pet.

I purchased the Med. booster, it's a perfect height for my dog, how high would she sit in the small booster. The med is too wide for my front seat.

  1. Thank you for your question. In the Small Lookout II Booster Seat, she would sit 7" high.
