Okay but could be better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m not sure what it is about this food, but my dog will not eat it all in one sitting. She’ll eat it if mixed with soft food or chicken broth or water, but she barely eats it by itself. The food kind of smells funky too, but she still eats it so it must not be terrible.

Great for picky, sensitive pups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our sweet Lab is an extremely picky eater. She also has a very sensitive tummy, so finding food she likes that doesn't upset her stomach can be a real challenge. I'm so pleased to say that this food met both of those needs very, very well! She was excited for mealtimes, she finished each meal with gusto, and she didn't have any discomfort or stomach upset at any point. Highly recommend to anyone else who is looking for high quality, sensitive stomach friendly food for a picky eater. I received this product for free in exchange for a fair and honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My golden retriever loves this food. She gets so excited when it’s time to eat and is often finicky at others. She has problems with certain foods making her itch, but this one does not. Would recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dog loves this food! He is a lab that has never turned anything down but I try to make sure I’m giving him something nutritious. This food never gave him any issues and he had good poops with it too!

Science Backed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand has been around a long time and is backed by science. My Labrador enjoyed eating this food, although the pieces are rather large for her. She is a large dog, but on the smaller side of a field line lab. I think it is very palatable and great for adult dogs ages one to five.

I noticed the first ingredient in this one is chicken where as others have chicken meal as the first ingredient. What is the difference? Does this one have de-boned chicken ?

  1. Thank you for your question. This formula contains mechanically de-boned chicken primarily from necks and backs. We use chicken from the United States. All of our chicken materials are sourced from USDA inspected plants that process foods for human consumption. Hill's Pet Nutrition
