I have a min pin chihuahua mix that is 17 lbs. what do you recommend for him to help lose some weight and how much should he eat on a daily basis
- I’d recommend discussing diet requirements for you dog with your veterinarian. Slightly decreasing portions and daily exercise should help. Hills Scientific Diet is the name but it has different items for different animal requirements. My vet recommended and uses this brand. I’ve used it for multiple cats and a dog, for certain conditions and for normal feeding. Please consult your vet.

RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Hi I was speaking with one of your vets before about senior diet cat foods that are less stressful on the kidneys. Suggestions were purina pro plan 11+, hills science 11+ & royal canin aging 12+, all canned. He wasn't crazy about these but seems to like hills science diet mature 7+ savory chicken minced canned entree.
