- I’d recommend discussing diet requirements for you dog with your veterinarian. Slightly decreasing portions and daily exercise should help. Hills Scientific Diet is the name but it has different items for different animal requirements. My vet recommended and uses this brand. RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend?
