Big problem with my dog scratching!!!!!!!!! He is 11 years old and never had this problem! My vet Recomended to switch his food to Hills prescription ZD! I hope this food helps him What is your option Thanks
- My vet recommended this for my older dog because he was having stomach issues. While I think it helped with that, it certainly did NOT help his itching! He’s had skin issues since he was a young and has been on various special diets with no marked improvement. At almost $45 for a 4lb bag, you might want to try something cheaper first.

I currently feed my male dog prescription Hill's z/d dry dog food I get from his vet. My female dog, who is on a normal food diet and does not need z/d food, wants to eat only the male's z/d food. It is challenging keeping them separated at meal time. Is there a comparable non-prescription food I can feed my female from Hill's that I can buy from Petco at a (considerably) lower price than the z/d?

I have a blond Mini Daschund 8 yrs old. She is always scratching herself. We have her on Hills Science Diet Small Breed Weight Control Small Bites. She has no fleas or parasites. Could it be her food and what kind would you suggest. When she scratches there is no flaking (like from dry skin?) Any suggestions?

I have a dog with severe yeast on his belly and feet. I bathe him regularly in medicated shampoo but he’s definitely allergic to ALL sugar. Blueberries have a lot of sugar, didn’t work for him. Peas and carrots had to many. I’ve found the spinach with chicken and beans has helped a lot. He is 6 yrs old. Can you give me any dry dog food options that would even work for him? I did find a Science Diet called Z/D. Right now he can only eat what I prepare.
RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? Whats best dog food w/ zero chicken (no by product etc? has IBD (via ultrasound&GI Panel-no scope) We’ve tried almost all IBD vet food (RC HP, RC low fat GI, Hills...) I have researched & doc. his symps.
