Has Hills Prescription z/d cat canned food been discontinued? I can't seem to find it anywhere!
- I am not having any trouble finding it, try their website - https://www.hillspet.com/cat-food/pd-zd-feline-canned

Does this z/d prescription diet cat food come in any other flavors?
Why does cat food need Vet authorization?
- A couple different reasons: some prescription foods are not "nutritionally complete" and can results in deficiencies if used exclusively for a long periods of time. Also, they are not a stand alone solution to health problems, and the animals should be under the care of a veterinarian.
