Questions
When is Hills going to make 3 OUNCE cans of prescription food? How many cats out of a household of them or like our one cat can eat a 5.5 oz can? It goes bad, begins to smell terrible after the second day open -the cat won’t eat it. Throw out $$$$$$$
- Thanks for the shout out but I do exactly that with the plastic wrap and the light reheating….it’s just frustrating, the cost does not make this any less frustrating- I would consider Royal Canin if they had a similar product. Sadly giving her the meds in the dose she needs makes her a 24 hour zombie, at least she is fairly normal with half dose and this food.. if she would eat it.

Some of the comments i've read are older. So, as of June 2020 has Hill's come up with any new textures, gravies, flavors for their wet y/d cat food??? and if not, WHY? Ellie @12yr. would like beef! or pork! and quality due to price! $$$ yikes!
- My kitty passed last December due to kidney issues. My vet determined that the thyroid was working harder because of his kidneys. But while he was on the thyroid y/d his thyroid issue was under control. It was a bummer there is only one flavor and $$ Garfield wouldn’t have taken the alternative medicine very well or at all and it was almost as $$ the vet that prescribed the y/d said if he was on medication he could eat whatever he wanted but on y/d only y/d I think in hind site if you can but the medicated ointment in his ears he would have been happier to eat whatever he wanted. It was so pitiful to see Garfield beg for our food. Makes me sad.
