Pharmacy is a joke

Diabetic dog

Do not order prescription food for your animal. Petco is not capable of handling such an order. The pharmacy is not qualified. They left me hanging for 9 days with no contact saying they needed verification from my vet which I downloaded at the time of order. They held the order up further pending the address and phone number of my vet which was clearly on the prescription that I downloaded at time of order. Petco is only good for dog toys and beds.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Horrible. Will never order from you again. I placed the order seven days ago and it took you this long to ship it? Two days after placing my order, I received an email saying that you were waiting for my vet to reply with authorization. My vet said they never got an email from you. When I called Customer Service, I was first told that you did send an email. Then you said there was no way to contact them because they weren’t on your list of vendors and that my Vet needed to contact you. My vet confirmed that they have Received authorizations from you from other customers in the past. So in other words, you were blaming my vet’s office this whole time while for whatever reason you dropped the ball in contacting them until several days later. then I get an email saying I will receive it on the 12th. It is now the 14th and I still have nothing. Way too many inconsistencies. How can I ever want to order anything from you again, especially food that I need right away, when I know that it’ll take several days to receive it? Nope. This food could’ve been shipped right away if you would have correctly reached my vet.

No, I do not recommend this product.

A staple in our home

Nummies

I’ve been using this for years recommended by my veterinarian when my dogs have had gastrointestinal issues. I now use on a daily basis to hide 1 of my dogs vitamins in otherwise she will not eat them. I also use as a treat literally a fork right out the can can Bella and Bama look forward to their treat. Actually my cats eat it too I pop the top off and they come running onto the counter for a lick and a few chunks. All the fur babies get it at our house as I usually buy 3 cases at a time to keep on hand with 2 in the fridge.

My dog is Diabetic and needs to eat this food but it has become extremely inconsistent. One day it is very soupy the next its almost pate. Paying a premium for this dog food id like to see more consistency.

Great for sensitive digestive systems

My chihuahua mix is two years old and has a very sensitive digestive system. If he eats regular dog food he gets diarrhea and becomes listless. His vet recommended this food, along with a probiotic with calming formula. After eating this food for a couple of days his diarrhea disappeared, his stools were finally normal and he is full of energy again. I am very grateful that his vet recommended this food, I’ve got my silly, active chi weeny back.

Yes, I recommend this product.
