My cat weight is 14 lbs. I give her The AMT of food for a 10 lb. Cat and split in half morning and night I hope this works. Is this the correct amount ?
- Yes, 1/2 morning and evening. If she is too hungry, give her a little more at each feeding. You don't want to cut her to short right away, it works better if you reduce the amount of food over a week or two so she gets used to getting less.

Are they only supposed to be fed this once based on their serving per the bag?
- The amount listed is a daily amount. I split it in half and give mine 1/2 in the morning and the other half at between 3 and 4 PM. You start with the weight reduction serving amount, and then when they achieve their ideal weight you feed them the maintenance amount. I have 5 cats and 3 eat this and love it and have lost weight on it. You have to preserve and not give more food, or it won't work. My guys even get 5 Temptation Treats a day and do fine. But no more, and no table food either. It feels good to see the weight come off and how much more playful they are. I won't feed them anything else now. This is their food for life. Good luck!!

After cat fight & treated at vet with Covina, rabies, anti inflam shot, my indoor/outdoor cat recovered indoors for 3 weeks. He started going outside again in a limited way. He gained weight. My 16 yr old Persian cat was recently diagnosed w/kidney disease. Doc prescribed Hill's Kidney Care. I've been trying to give the canned version for the first time ever because of dehydration. She eats some, but not enough, & has dropped from her usual 7 1/2 lbs to about 5 1/2 lbs. She licks & licks, but it takes forever for her to get it in. She also seems unable to pick up the dry version because of it's shape & size and her flat face. What can I do to get her to eat enough?
Bam, male cat, 2yrs. old has been on diet of “sensitive stomach, Hill’s Sci. Diet, to control chronic diarrhea. It worked very well. Now we wish to change over to a less-expensive daily dry food. Bam rejects our new offerings.
