ONC DRY

Our cat had been throwing up and not eating. After many tries of different foods, our Vet recommended ONC. It was a miracle. Jack loves the dry and gained back his weight loss.

Disappointed, high carbs

Puma

GI Lymphoma is common in cats yet you add inflammatory ingredients for an obligate carnivore such as glutens, grains, and sometimes even chicken. These new Onc foods are high in carbs with all the corn and wheat and grains. Why can't you make an appetizing cat diet with just meat, fats, and a little prebiotic fiber? Cancer diets should be low carb, especially for carnivores.

Our cat loves this food

Our cat was just diagnosed with a primary lung tumor and our doctor suggested this product. I was hesitant with the corn gluten meal as I am concerned about fillers and allergies. However, she loves it and I am trusting Hills that it will help her as she lives with her cancer. Very grateful that you have created it.

Not Just for Cancer Patients

Kayla

One of my cats, Inky, whom I obtained when she was about 3-weeks-old, was born with a peritoneal-pericardial diaphragmatic hernia along with a sternal defect that were not surgically corrected until she was 9-months-old. Post operation, she was still thin months afterwards despite her unwavering appetite and vomited very often because of her congenital deformities having affected her growth. When this diet was announced, and I heard that it could be used for situations other than cancer, I opted to try it in hopes it would fill Inky's body condition out so that she could be even a little bit more "normal." After being on the diet since it was released, Inky has definitely gained weight and it's even helped reduce her chronic vomiting (along with a medication). She's also been more playful, something which I haven't seen from her since she was a kitten...! Not to mention, she loves the food; though, that's never been a problem for Inky. While I can't vouch for ONC Care on behalf of a pet with cancer, I would definitely recommend it should a veterinarian recommend it for a patient that it may benefit.
