RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? She had pancreatitis 2 times and consulted the vet and was told she cannot eat too much oily food.
What would be the best wet dog food for her weighing 3.3 lbs. 4 years and has Periodontal desease? And can I purchase at Petco or Petsmart? Thank you
My dog has been on a grain free soy free and chicken free food for about 8 months, He is 3 and has been gaining weight. He eats about 1/2 can of food twice a day and maybe a handful of dry food in between. He is never been a very active dog. He is part beagle and part chihuahua. Noticed 12 yr. F. Lab Retriever having trouble releasing urine. Visit to vet for vaccine, felt dogs tummy and suggested ultra sound. Suggested immediate surgery because many stones seen. After surgery said most stones ever seen. I saw them, 15 lbs of stones. Says needs to be on Royal Canine Urinary SO dog food for life. She is not tolerating more than 1/2 her food being this food.
