Improved liver enzymes!

Sheesh

My dogs enzyme issues have improved since starting the l/d canned and dry food, and we are so relieved.. In addition, I cook finely shredded organic carrots, fresh organic spinach (chopped) and ground turkey (together or separately) and add to his food at each serving. The texture and flavor of the canned food may be a bit boring on its own otherwise.

Too wet. Difficult to remove from can and cut into slices. It sticks to dog’s plate. The former one was so much better. The one in the can without the clip on the lid.

Thank you for your feedback. While it is difficult to tell the exact cause for this change in texture, we can assure you that this variation has no impact on the nutritional value of the food. Some possible causes of the variation are the freshness of the product or temperatures the food has been exposed to during distribution.

Excellent food for liver problems

This liver diet is excellent. We’ve been very fortunate with our pug for nine years with a liver shunt.

Too dense, not palatable to my dog

ScutchieMom

I would give it a zero because my dog does NOT like it. I bought a case and I just wasted my money. I took it off my repeat for this reason. Sometimes she eats it but I have to fix it up by adding lots of water, and add beef liver treat to it, so this is lots of work for me and Im done with it and spending this money. It is so dense I need heavy duty utensil to get it out of the can, then I have to break it up and mix it up with other food to get her to eat it, so whats the point? No more Thank you!

was sent the wrong flavor

This listing is misleading. Petco sent me a 12 pack of Liver Care Original Flavor Canned Food and the pictures show it is Chicken Flavored. My dog does not like the original flavor. I'm nervous to re-order this and have the same thing happen again.

Our Toby (a little Chorkie) has an anomaly with his liver from birth. He has to be on this prescription food for life. I mix the food with organic vegetables, rice or organic pasta, and organic chicken or hamburger (well drained) and Toby scarfs it down! The food is a bit on the expensive side but he’s worth it. I have my order on repeat delivery so I usually don’t have to scramble to get it as it can sometimes be hard to get due to demand.

Yes, I recommend this product.
