Bag too big

Jill Lu

My dog has liver problems but like many others have commented the bags are too big. Please make smaller size bags. Our dogs cannot eat the product fast enough for it to stay fresh!

HAVENT TRIED BECAUSE I NEVER RECEIVED MY ITEM

MS ANGRY

I ordered this and I was hoping it would arrive before thanksgiving. UNFORTUNATELY, the delivery companies have no common sense. MY order was delivered AT 10PM with a A DARK BLURRED PICTURE, SENT TO THE WRONG HOUSE. HOW CAN YOU TAKE A PICTURE OF AN ITEM IN THE DARK? WHY DELIVER AT 10PM? I NEVER RECEIVED MY PRODUCT AND I WILL BE REFUNDING. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE AND DELIVERY SHOULD BE BETTER!

No, I do not recommend this product.

Freeze part of the bag to save waste

Otis

We have a small dog and a big bag of food. I divided the food into a few half gallon glass jars and store them in the freezer. The food stays fresh until we need it with no waste.

Thank you for your review. Bags of dry food should be stored in a cool, dry environment under 100°F (38°C) to prevent destruction of vitamins and oxidation of fats leading to rancidity. Foods will retain their best flavor if stored in the original bag, which provides a fat barrier. Dry food is best kept in a cool, dry environment, rather than frozen. Hill’s Pet Nutrition

Bag is too big

Libby

They decreased the kibble size which was great.. but PLEASE make this in a smaller bag. 17 pounds is just so wasteful when I have a 3 pound yorkie with liver problems.

Fine product but bag too big for small dogs

Erin

My dogs loves the taste of it, but the kibble is too big. They made it a bit smaller recently I'm assuming so it can be for both large and small dogs, but the bag is MASSIVE. Doesn't matter that I have the most airtight container to keep it fresh for as long as possible, toward the end of the bag it just makes my dog sick because it's just too old. PLEASE sell smaller bags! The majority of dogs with liver issues are small dogs anyway. I don't understand why there's only one size bag. Smaller kibble would be nice too but I'd settle for a smaller bag.

Unexpected flavor change

Cat from Silver City

My dog has high liver enzymes and was put on l/d. She was doing great. Then unexpectedly the recipe was changed to a chicken flavor. As my dog is allergic to chicken, I guess we're now SOL.
