Are there treats available for us to get for our feline fur babies with kidney disease?
How many cans in a case? How much per can without multiple shipments? Don’t know yet how much my cat will eat of this new food. Thank you.
- There are 24 cans in a case. There are 2 different sizes of cans so you can choose which size you want. Since this is a prescription food, I first bought a few cans at my vets office to see which flavor he likes best.

I have the prescription for feline k/d from my veterinarian, should I scan it and send it to you or should I go to the nearest Petco store for filling? My cat was started on Hills prescription diet k/d pate with chicken and the dry formula too.

One of our male cats recdently had a blockage and we had to take him to emergency. We got there in the nick of time, he was going into kidney failure! Naturally he now has to be on special prescription food. The Hill's c/d he doesn't like at all. The Royal Canin he tolerates but will hardly eat it. I always try to mix something else in but it's just a chore to get him to eat now and the poor guy is hungry. He does love Royal Canin's dry SO food and treats. What else can I feed him?
my 12 year old cat was recently diagnosed with early stages of kidney disease. i had her eating the dry food from Hills K/D and she was ok with that. Then i moved her to the wet food because she stopped eating the dry. now she’ll eat the wet food for a day or so and then refuses. the only food she never misses a meal is fancy feast pate and blue buffalo healthy gourmet pate. i know commercial food isn’t great, but are either of these foods near the percentile a kidney cat needs?

What would be the best brand of store shelf wet food for her? I have been reading labels for high protein and moisture, good Omega 3, low phosphorus and alot of brands seem to be about the same. My cat had annual blood work done and was diagnosed with SLIGHT increase in kidney values. The vet recommended that I put her on some sort of kidney diet food(Royal Canine or Hills Science Diet) She normally eats Rachael Ray Nutrish dry, and Special Kitty canned. I was looking at the ingredients in the food brands the vet recommended and they have a lot of grains and fillers. Hello tony does not have kidney disease and he is not in early stages of kidney disease (like my vet recently thought) but I had bought a royal canin renal Food kit and he loves the renal dry food and won’t eat any other dry food now. He is mainly on a canned hills rx senior diet but likes the renal dry as a snack or sometimes with his wet food. Is it ok for him to eat this renal food even though he doesn’t have kidney disease??? My cat was diagnosed with kidney failure and has gastrointestinal problems. We are trying to change the diet to one that would be fitting, such as Renal both wet and dry from Royal Canine and Gastrointestinal from Royal Canine, these are the only foods available in my area for these two diseases. But my cat doesn't want to eat at all. Would it be possible to add to his diet a bit of chicken meat at least once a day or mixed with the wet food?
