Veterinarian authorized products ship only after Petco receives an authorization from your vet. We will not need to reach out to your vet or you if the authorization includes refills. When all available refills are used or the authorization expires, we will reach out to your vet to obtain a new authorization. For new authorizations, we will attempt to reach your vet for a total of 5 days. If your vet does not respond within 5 days, we will then reach out to you for a total of 3 days. If no response is given, the order will then be canceled.

Questions
Are there treats available for us to get for our feline fur babies with kidney disease?
How many cans in a case? How much per can without multiple shipments? Don’t know yet how much my cat will eat of this new food. Thank you.
- There are 24 cans in a case. There are 2 different sizes of cans so you can choose which size you want. Since this is a prescription food, I first bought a few cans at my vets office to see which flavor he likes best.

I have the prescription for feline k/d from my veterinarian, should I scan it and send it to you or should I go to the nearest Petco store for filling? My cat was started on Hills prescription diet k/d pate with chicken and the dry formula too.
