How much do you give a 30lb. dog a day?
- If all you are giving your dog is the canned, I would limit to 1/2 can day and supplement with some of the k/d dry. I had a 60 pound lab (before she passed a month ago) and I fed her 1/2 cup dry + 1/2 can wet twice a day. Typically dogs lose weight on this diet; mine did not in the beginning but after many short walks a day, she burned off this much food easily.
