How long can my pup stay on I/d prescription diet food once her parasites are gone and she has a negative fecal test?
- My vet says our dog can stay on this forever if need be. We just use it as a food topper for her now, she’ll eat her sensitive stomache dry food so long as the science diet I/d is in there. It is the only thing that will get her to eat. I don’t know what they put in it, but our dog loves it.

Dove has been on prescription food by hills science I’d low fat food because her pancreas can’t handle the fat from what I was told. Well we moved to Germany and won’t be getting her food in time and won’t be able to see a vet until 2 more weeks. the food we’ve been giving her is giving her diarrhea. I often have to give him a bit of a topper to add some flavor I guess and get him going... do you know if hills science diet healthy cuisine adult 11+ may be a food lower in phosphorus and protein as to not be as harmful to the kidneys? RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend?
