My vet Recommend Hill’s prescription diet for for 14lb dog who is overweight. Is there another more affordable option for her ?
I have an 8 year old female Min Pin / Rat Terrier mix who is about 6 lbs over weight. She’s currently on Hills Science Diet Youthful Vitality, but her vet said she should be on a grain less low calorie food. What do you suggest? I’d like to keep it in the Hills line if possible, unless they don’t have that kind of option. Thank you.
RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? She had pancreatitis 2 times and consulted the vet and was told she cannot eat too much oily food.
Dove has been on prescription food by hills science I’d low fat food because her pancreas can’t handle the fat from what I was told. Well we moved to Germany and won’t be getting her food in time and won’t be able to see a vet until 2 more weeks. the food we’ve been giving her is giving her diarrhea. So I was wondering what food is similar to hills science I’d low fat that I can get right away? Thank you.
What else can I add to supplement my Dog's diet? He's just had the Bladder surgery but ongoing monthly costs for a 35kg dog on other than Hills Prescription u/d diet (375kg.) dry ^ Hills UD 375 cans (I've purchased a month's worth) is VERY expensive on an ongoing basis.Thank you
My10 yr old Dachshund will not eat any of Hill"s canned +7 dog food. She will, however eat Hills dry kibble food. what would suggest? i am not comfortable with a diet that only includes dry foods.
I need help finding a dog food for Flash, who I got 8 months ago. He keeps having gas and very loose stools. He's been on Hill’s Prescription Diet Digestive Care i/d since May 27 & is doing well, but I want to go to a regular dry dog food. I've tried 1. Ziwi Peak Air-Dried Venison Dog – terrible gas 2. Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Selected Protein Adult PD fed to my old Norwich, Flash did OK 3. Merrick Limited Ingredient Diet Grain Free Duck & Sweet Potato – loose stools & gas. Suggest a dry food

Hi I have an 11 year old and a 2 year old chihuahua/terrier. My 11 year old is on a prescription diet dog food Hills science diet w/d. I was looking for a dog food that both my dogs can eat so I’m not constantly trying to keep them away from each other’s food, that will benefit my 11 yr olds weight and joints, but that will also be beneficial to my 2 yr old. Is there any such food?
I have been feeding Hill's Science Diet Perfect Weight dry food mixed with their Perfect Weight. Chicken Vegetable Stew (1/3 cup dry, 2 Tbs. Wet, 2x/day). I am thinking of switching to the wet food, which he seems to prefer. If i do, how much should I be feeding him (2 small meals per day)?
We have a 25 lb labradoodle that must eat hills prescription diet w/d. She has slowly gotten tired of the food and we have been adding bits of chicken and even hamburger to get her to eat. That has been successful but is now wearing off to the point where all she wants is the meat. Any suggestions as to how to entice her to eat? She is healthy otherwise.
