Less Product. Same Price.

My Pomeranian has been eating Hill’s ID Digestive Care small bite kibble for several years. I just bought an 8 lb bag a month ago and it’s almost gone. It usually lasts 2 months. I noticed the bag shrunk. Now it’s a 7lb bag at the same price I was paying for an 8lb bag. Wish Hill’s would have notified their customers about a price increase cleverly disguised as less product.

Consumer Affairs
Thank you for your feedback. Please know, we have not changed the packaging of this product since March of 2022. In navigating these difficult times, we have remained close to our business partners and to the consumers, continuing to listen to their needs. Consumers, in these tough economic times, would like manufacturers to provide more economical price and sizing solutions. Since we will never compromise the quality and superior nutrition of our products, we needed to look for other ways to reduce the acquisition cost and make our products more affordable to a greater number of people.

My dig has been on ID for quite awhile without issue. Bought a recent bag and the color and shape are visibly different. Taste must be different too as dog refuses to eat it. What happened? Plus it is VERY expensive!

This has made all the difference for our Cavapoo! Around 6 months of age, our pup was having GI upset every week or two. He wouldn’t alway show interest in eating. We were supplementing his food with occasional pumpkin and a daily probiotic, but his tummy issues weren’t getting better. The vet recommended this food, and from the first day our dog seemed more interested in his meals and has not had any more GI upset! We’ll be staying on this food forever!

Yes, I recommend this product.
