Questions
Csn this cause gas issues? My kitty has CKD early stages keeps vomiting so vet put him on hills digestive care i/d. I feel like he is getting smelly. But on the positive side no more throwing up and diarrhea.
- I know it is expensive but my cat adjusted to it and now she is thriving. We tried to mix it with regular food and come off of it at one point and she immediately started getting sick again.. I will have her on this until she can't eat any more... I am a believer in it.

Does hills I/d promote weight gain in cats with sensitive stomach issues?
- It did the trick for my cat. She got very thin and mostly slept. In March of 2020 the vet ran hundreds of dollars in tests and determined that she had cancer but couldn't tell exactly what kind. We asked for a prescription so we could continue to give her this food since at least she didn't throw it up. It took a while but this year she has gained weight and is back to boxing the dogs ears. Totally back to normal. I plan to keep her on it.

Bam rejects our new offerings. Is there any other brand you can suggest? 38 dollars for a large bag of Hill’s is a tough go for the rest of Bam’s life, if he could eat cheaper, and still maintain health. I recently purchased online Hill's Prescription Diet Feline Kd Kidney Care dry food by mistake, meant to buy the Canine one (my dog has been on this for about a year now with Vet advice). However I see the dry biscuits are much smaller than the dog variety and my dog is tiny so this size would be better for her to eat. Will it hurt her by giving it to her instead?
Hello, after recent surgery to remove a blockage from junction of large & small intestine, which turned out to be a lump of rock hard feaces, it was advised that dog remain permanently on a prescription diet (Hills I/d) This is very expensive, is there an alternatives please?
My 16 yr old Persian cat was recently diagnosed w/kidney disease. Doc prescribed Hill's Kidney Care. I've been trying to give the canned version for the first time ever because of dehydration. She eats some, but not enough, & has dropped from her usual 7 1/2 lbs to about 5 1/2 lbs. She licks & licks, but it takes forever for her to get it in. She also seems unable to pick up the dry version because of it's shape & size and her flat face. What can I do to get her to eat enough?
