Why are these treats so hard to find????
- I think it’s production and shipping due to pandemic. I get them at my veterinarian now cause my automatic delivery from Petco doesn’t have them right now. They are difficult to get otherwise so check with your vet. Good luck!

My vet Recommend Hill’s prescription diet for for 14lb dog who is overweight. Is there another more affordable option for her ?
I’m trying to figure out treats for my pup. He was just put on a hypoallergenic diet, and while we have the food angle covered, I’m trying to sort out treats and chews. He’s used to having Nylabone Nubz and Busy Bones, so I’m trying to find something similar to them. I’m also trying to make sure he doesn’t lose any weight as a result of his new diet. He’s 85 pounds, and a perfect body condition, so losing weight would be problematic. Do you have any suggestions??
My 10 yr old lab recently was diagnosed with diabetes. She absolutely refuses the hills prescription weighty-mobility she was put on. After 4 days hospital, they sent he4 home in hopes she would begin to eat. After 4 days of doing everything I could think of to get enough food on board to given her insulin, I gave up. I cooked some homemade bone broth, rice, and ground venison. She gets a cup morning and night of the combined food. Any recommendations on a better food?
What else can I add to supplement my Dog's diet? He's just had the Bladder surgery but ongoing monthly costs for a 35kg dog on other than Hills Prescription u/d diet (375kg.) dry ^ Hills UD 375 cans (I've purchased a month's worth) is VERY expensive on an ongoing basis.Thank you
I have an 8 year old female Min Pin / Rat Terrier mix who is about 6 lbs over weight. She’s currently on Hills Science Diet Youthful Vitality, but her vet said she should be on a grain less low calorie food. What do you suggest? Would you please recommend OTC dog food for weight loss? Scribbles has always struggled with her weight. She weighs 9.2lbs. We tried prescribed food, unfortunately she tends to vomit. We've tried a few from pet stores, no luck. Perhaps we're part of the problem too. I give her treats (when she goes potty on pee pads. She's been a mopey dog ever since she was spayed years ago. Brody had bladder stones removed. The stones were found to be calcium oxalate stones and we were told to switch his food to Hills prescription U/D diet which we have. There is only dog food - wet and dry. Are there any other foods we can feed Brody in conjunction with this diet - specifically treats? Also, is Brody ok to continue with his Dasaquin supplement ? We have a 25 lb labradoodle that must eat hills prescription diet w/d. She has slowly gotten tired of the food and we have been adding bits of chicken and even hamburger to get her to eat. Recently my vet suggested changing my Golden Doodles food from Blue Buffalo Freedom Chicken recipe to ZD Hills Prescription Diet due to reoccurring ear infections and licking of paws. She thought a digestive and allergy issue. Is there a comparable brand or food that may be a better fit? Although our Blue Buffalo is pricing, this price point for the ZD is not attainable for us to continue. She spoke of hydrolized protein being important but it's not economical either. Thank you!
