One bag is fine the next bag is hard as a rock. Many reviews complain of this. Fix it.

HARD AS A ROCK NOW

RL

Not sure what happened to these treats but the consistency is horrible! They last few months I have purchased and exchanged MULTIPLE bags and the treats are HARD AS A ROCK! My large strong dog even has trouble breaking them! I reached out to hills to get some scripted response and told I can return them but I just want the normal Hypo treats for my dog that aren’t hard as a rock and easy to break like they used to be!!

Thank you for your review. We are disappointed to hear of your experience. This is certainly an unusual report. It is difficult to tell why the treats appear harder in texture. Please be assured that the food is guaranteed until the best before date on the package.

Good nutritionally, treat size too large

Anna

My vet has recommended a hypo diet for my dog. Glad there are treats available, but these are WAY too big and do not break easily into small sized bits that can be used for training treats. Can’t seem to find training treat size hypoallergenic treats anywhere.

Hypo Treats

JS

I use the hypo treats as special treats for grooming and other reinforcements. I cut the treat into four sections. The dosage recommended for my canine babies is two per day. When I groom I divide the grooming up into sessions and reinforce each session. I could not get the site to download pictures

Not worth the money anymore

I have been purchasing these treats for my dogs for many years now. I just received an order through Chewy. The treats are half the size. This is ridiculous. The treats are great for a tiny tiny dog. I’m very disappointed.

I have been purchasing this for years, and I would not know what to do without it. My Australian labradoodle loves them. It is the only snack I found that does not cause him to scratch’s nd itch at his ears. Please keep these in supply!

Dreaming about snacks

Deni

My dog has been on Hills low fat diet food for around 7 years due to her condition. She cannot eat anything else but when the doctor prescribed the snacks, she waits for that time of the day to have them, she harasses/spies on me every night so I can give her doggie Candie, I think she dreams of these snacks. She is 16 years old poodle mix

Why are these treats so hard to find????

  1. I think it’s production and shipping due to pandemic. I get them at my veterinarian now cause my automatic delivery from Petco doesn’t have them right now. They are difficult to get otherwise so check with your vet. Good luck!
