My 10 lb. Papillion was just diagnosed with congestive heart failure Taking three different medications. I have been feeding him Instict freeze dried raw dog food. Lot of Protien. I'm on line and saw Hill's H/D dog food for Dogs with severe heart problems. Also Salt is another major concern and it mention it's could be in water. We have a well, not city water. RE: DOG FOOD My dog is eating Hill's science diet 7+ Active Longevity Small Bites (chicken meal, rice & Barley recipe) for years. But I found out Hill's is recalling their dog foods recently and I am worrying the dog food my dog eating now also have the problems. Should I change other brands OR I cook chicken breast with carrot and broccoli for her instead? or other foods you recommend? She had pancreatitis 2 times and consulted the vet and was told she cannot eat too much oily food.
