Great, but not for small dogs

Works great but kibble too big for my min pin. I have to break it up which is a pain. I don't know why it doesn't come in small kibble.

Possibly. My dog's dermatologist prescribed it.

I just started my third bag. Suddenly, my dog refused to eat the last 10 cups of the bag. He is usually very food driven and eats very quickly. Put out food and he looked at it sadly. Otherwise his behavior was very normal. Opened up new bag, and he resumed eating. I keep a tight container in the kitchen. It seems like a waste to throw it out. I tried feeding from the container again, and h refused the food. The cost makes me question this end of the bag refusal. The bag was not old. Not sure if I can recommend this. But will continue if prescribed. Smell of food is pleasant, and dog's digestion is ok. No rash visible.

Too big for small dogs

My min pin looks and feels great. However, the kibble is way too big for her. I have to measure it out and put it in ziplock bags to break it up so she can eat it. What a pain. I contacted customer service a couple of years ago and asked if they would be making this in small kibble for small dogs. Still only one size. Make it for all dogs.

Upon insistence of canine cardiologist. I gradually took my dog off the food he experienced no issues with all of his life. This food sickened him in three days - sores, vomiting & diarrhea.

2 pups with grain/gluten and poultry allergy. I had them on another brand but it is constantly backordered and when I switch foods I end up back at the vet with skin/ear/paw problems. I came across this on Petco.com and talked to my vet. It did require a RX which took some difficulty getting things right, but the item arrived today and both dogs had their first meal. Their noses was in the bag as I was trying to get it open and they ate it up. I am hoping it will clear up the skin issues pretty fast now that we have the proper dog food. According to the other reviews things have worked great for others. My dogs are German Shepard Mix (8 y/o 54#) and a white pit bull (6 y/o 75#). The size of the kibble is perfect and my GSM has mega-E and he's doing great so far with the kibble and if I have to the vet said to add a bit of water to make a gravy so that makes me happy. I usually only buy wet can food and have a side of kibble so doing a 360 and going to dry.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Bought this per vet's recommendation. The food bites were too large for our yorkie to chew.
