I feed my cat Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Early Support Chicken Canned Cat Food, and order it from chewy.com, but the are out of stock and vet doesn't carry it. She has only 10 cans left. Is there any other place to get this food quickly?
Hi tony is on Rx hills KD kidney care chicken canned diet. I often have to give him a bit of a topper to add some flavor I guess and get him going... do you know if hills science diet healthy cuisine adult 11+ may be a food lower in phosphorus and protein as to not be as harmful to the kidneys? I’m Not able to find these nutritional values on the can. thanks!
One of our male cats recdently had a blockage and we had to take him to emergency. We got there in the nick of time, he was going into kidney failure! Naturally he now has to be on special prescription food. The Hill's c/d he doesn't like at all. The Royal Canin he tolerates but will hardly eat it. I always try to mix something else in but it's just a chore to get him to eat now and the poor guy is hungry. He does love Royal Canin's dry SO food and treats. What else can I feed him?
My dog a few weeks ago she vomited so I gave her chicken n rice with Prescription Hills K/D she she got better now she wants it every time...now she wont eat without! I had no ideal chicken can cause her functions to get high...so I Changed her to Royal Canin exclusive Renal in a can its its like thick Pate' so I add water to soften it up! she eats it now but has not poops day 2. I'm worried now
My 3 year old 23lb. male corgi has a history of developing cystine crystals in his urinary tract and was put on Hill's U/D canned food as a result. I have been reading online about alkaline diets and was wondering if we could prepare food for him at home that would be sufficient in preventing the formation of the cystine crystals. The food he is on currently is very expensive ($42-$46 every 12 days). How can we determine the correct amount of homemade food or his weight and breed?
Hi! Tony has been eating wet/canned royal canin aging 12+ , he’s 18 years old , and I wanted an opinion on this food as far as senior diets go. My vet had me try rx veterinary hills g/d canned food but he didn’t like it. is the aging 12+ a good senior diet option for a food lower in phosphorus and sodium? Thx!
What else can I add to supplement my Dog's diet? He's just had the Bladder surgery but ongoing monthly costs for a 35kg dog on other than Hills Prescription u/d diet (375kg.) dry ^ Hills UD 375 cans (I've purchased a month's worth) is VERY expensive on an ongoing basis.Thank you
Our dog is diabetic and diagnosed with Cushing disease he currently eats Hill Prescription I/d is there a lessor expensive food e can give him?
If my cat were to start a diet of Hill's® Prescription Diet® c/d Multicare Urinary Care Stress Cat Food, could this bladder stone break up/dissolve and pass?
My cat was almost two he was diagnosed w/FLUTD and had crystals in his urine. He had a perineal urethrostomy after being diagnosed. He was originally on hills science c/d and s/d but that became very expensive. He has been one Purina One urinary tract health dry food for about 1.5 years and has had no urinating issues. I want him to lose weight (18lbs) & don't know if his wet food should be urinary or weight loss focused and what his dry food should focus on since I'm doing a mixed diet.
I'm desperate to find a high quality dog food (wet) that would be good for my 8 year old Dachshund who has Cushing's Disease, an enlarged liver, gastric ulcer and is overweight. I love her so much but this Cushing's disease really took me for a loop and it's like everything I feed her makes her stomach hurt and she sits in the corner and cries and cries. I don't know what to do. Please help.
My peekapoo has a uti and crystals in his urine. He is on antibiotic and vet wants him to be on special food (Hills C/d Or Royal canine SO). He also had X-ray. No stones. He has had previous uti and crystals before. My dog will not eat the food. Turns his nose up and then I end up feeding him plain chicken and his usual food bc he refuses to eat the other. Or he will eat out of my other dog’s bowl. Is there any other food (human or dog!) that I can give him? I
