Excellent Post Trauma Food

Charlie

My 18 year old labradoodle suffered from a savage dog attack and didn’t eat anything for four days. Our Vet, Dr Clayton recommended Hills A/D chicken flavor, and he started eating normally immediately. Thank you!

Love this food but is it good or bad for constipated cat

Fluffy

My cat will be 20 in April. She is CKD. HYPERTHYROIDISM and IBD. She is 6lbs, but full of energy. I supplement her with this if she gets picky every once in awhile to keep her eating. Is it good or bad to give her when constipated? Any suggestions?

I wasxso surprised when my picky cat ate every morsel of urgent care, even after having 14 teeth extraction. She wouldn't tough anything else!

My 20 year old cat with transitional cell carcinoma and kidney disease will occasionally go through periods of inappetence. During these times, a/d is the only food he will eat. It's comforting to know there is always a back up for when my old man isn't feeling his best and gets him feeling better quickly!

I have a very important question about AD. I've used it periodically for many years for different cats. My precious kitty was recently diagnosed with ckd. He likes KD kibble, but does not like the canned KD. Would it be safe to feed him AD (about 1/3 can per day) as a supplement to the KD kibble to help him get extra fluids and calories?

A miracle for sick dogs/cats

I got a few cans from my vet when my dog was super sick from ehrlichia and wasn’t eating. Under my vet’s guidance, I was able to make this into a slurry and syringe feed it to him when he was refusing to eat anything. I very genuinely believe this canned food helped save his life

Questions

1 - 1 of 1 Questions

My dog has high ALT and has lost two pounds and is down to 8 pounds now. She has no appetite/what can I feed her to gain weight and energy?

  1. Find a good vet for her. Doesn't sound vet you have now is doing right for her.
